  • damn i shoulda got this instead of my bugera 333xl head. o well....

  • does this head have a direct output jack for recording or would u have to use mics to record?

  • One of the best reviews I've seen on YouTube.

  • im loving the MMJ

  • What's the difference between the 6260 and the 6262 heads (if any)?

  • pretty much the 6260 is a copy of the peavey 6505 and the 6262 is a copy of the peavey 6505+

  • just a hell lot more affordable.

  • 6260 both chanels share the same eq settings. 6262 each chanels has its own eq section.

  • I don't know for sure, but I think it's only that the 6262 has 2 EQ's instead of one like the 6260.

  • The 6262 has slightly less gain, and it also has seperate eq for the lead and clean/crunch channel. There's more specs on bugera's site.

  • Kinda looks a bit more like Paul Rudd.

  • I didn't know John Cusack was so good at guitar

  • looks like a baked John Cusack lol

  • You can't change to crunch with the footswitch and yeah it's a VERY veritile amp.

The clip melting prob has now been fixed and I've had a 6262 212 for about 6 months with zero issues.

It's am awesome amp...and not just for metal.

Just treat it nice and DON'T expect ANY tube amp to be as reliable as a solid state crap box.

  • @BeerBatteredBear Do u crank it up and really work the tubes also??

  • Hmmm. This sounds great. But I wonder if the rumors about this amp breaking down are true...

  • that was back when they started. There much better now but ofc there are small problems. But they are ussually simple fixes that anyone could perform

  • hey all, urm this sounds gr8 to me but its so cheap £400 for the head. is bugera a crappy brand? or just new boys??

  • Can you enable crunch with the foot switch I wonder?

  • nope

  • I just read some reviews n ppl said u cant change between clean n crunch with da footswitch... U can do all the other things with it tho...

  • unfourutantly no.

  • Andy from Pro guitar shop is the king of reviews.

  • play some metal wtf... waited the whole vid

  • does anyone own the combo verson of this how does that sound

  • i jsut palyed it today at guitar center..it was pretty amazing. DEFINATELY suprised me even tho ive seen alot of videos.

  • andy + pro guitar shop = hands down, the best gear reviews in the biz.

  • I have to say, Paul + Guitar World is also a contender for that title.

  • Except that paul is an idiot who gets horrible tone out of everything he uses and plays horrible riffs.

  • "Hi i'm paul from guitar world and i will make you hate any guitar with my annoying voice and excessive use of reverb and delay when playing anything heavy" cant say i agree with you there sorry.

  • its not the delay its that damn effect coming from the background that kills his demos..I wish I knew what it was exactly but it sounds like the sound is doubled by something..add to that, he always has the amps as bright and thin as possible. Every amp sounds fucking brittle in the GW demos

  • Paul can play..but the demos suck because there's always this weird ass effect in the background that ruins the gear's natural sound..I wish i knew wtf it was so we could tell them to use different shit to record the gear with

  • Paul sucks, he couldn't EQ a Fender Champ.

  • HAHAHAHA

  • yup, have you seen world music supply reviews? they get 16 year olds to review amps and guitars, they have been probably been playing guitar for like a week

  • 4:45, sold

  • what are the main differences between this and the bugera 333?

  • can some one explane what the FX loop dose

  • Yees, Ie cane x-plane wut teh Fx lupe doos.

The effects loop makes sure that your guitar signal goes through your effects pedals after it hits the preamp, instead of before. That way, your tone isn't as affected by the pedals as it would be if you placed them before the amp.

  • It's where you put time effects in.

As in, you can put the smart gate pedal, phaser, etc. in front of the amplifier. Then you put delay in the FX loop.

  • the fx loop's function is to have a seperate output just for pedal effects

  • mna! everyone that has this amp has the gain burried on the lead channel. turn that shit down. to like seven or 8

  • Whats the song at 3:55

  • Tele's are just awesome in every kind of way you can think of

  • This thing sounds really great. But whats that Marshall cabinet? the amps heads cabinets tone is also affect tone.....

  • i have to say the telecaster is one of the ugliest guitars i have ever seen...

  • damn straight, but sounds beautiful

  • personally i think its it one of the sexiest guitars of all time

  • i think you're absolutely right

  • have u not seen a PRS?!

  • fuck ya

    they're gross

  • its basically the same body shape as a les paul besides the slightly larger cutaway and shallower curves

  • na,, a tele has a thinner body and therefore a thinner tone

  • sure dude, to avoid this i bought a 34kg guitar to have a huge tone!

  • not to mention single coil pickups, which are really what give it a much thinner tone...

  • that's exactly what I think as well:) come on, give me -100;P

  • Guitars aren't trophy wives.

  • nah. they're wives that u play just for fun.

  • I don't care about ugly. If it sounds good, I'll play it.

  • i would finger a telecaster any day of the week. i would stroke it like a cat.

  • couldnt agree more

  • "Well I really dont need the confusion.. and you know I just aint the type.. to get all wrapped up in the illusion, of doing something that I know aint right"

    Great song to start it.

  • hi zac

  • does anyone know what song he is playing at 2:14?

  • Sounds like Lust for Life by Iggy Pop.

  • what is better for a wolfmother sound and metallica and red hot chilli peppers ?

bugera 6262 or the orange tiny terror ? o.O

  • Thats a tricky one,

i believe that the bugera is more versatile

however the tiny terror has better tone :-)

  • the bugera and you need good clean tones to play most peppers songs

  • bugera 6262 with crate 4x12 box or Orange Tiny Terror with a crate 4x 12 box ? what is cooler or better ?

i like Wolfmother sound and a little bit metallica and stoner rock sound. and the clean sound by red hot chili peppers.

what is better for me ?!?!?! :)

  • Man this amp sounds amazing anyone out there who has played it do u think it would b good for blink 182, new found glory kind of punk green day - jesus of suburbia sounded good on that beast so anyways any info is helpful thanx

    great demo by the way

  • with El34's maybe.

    but it's more metal.

  • yea its between this and the bugera 1990 i like both so idk imma just try to find a dealer and play one of these bad boys

i like metal too and i love the tone the 6262 has so i think ill enjoy playin either one of those amps

    thanks for the reply

  • the bugera 1990 sounds more like a Marshall JCM 900.

    Search on YouTube:

Bugera 1990 vs Marshall jcm 900

and you'll see what I mean

  • yeah this amp is super versatile.

youd have no problem playing blink since their older stuff is super distorted.

  • whats he playing around 4:00?

  • Damn! I thought I was the only person that knew about MMJ's off the record xD don't hear that being played much.

  • haha me too, what a boner killer

  • im from Brasil, can somebody tell me about the price of a bugera head in US?and a peavey?

  • The Bugera is 550 USD. The Peavey 6505 is 999 USD. And just in case, there's also the Peavey 3120 for 999 USD also, but that uses EL34 tubes instead of 6L6's with the Bugera and Peavey 6505.

  • the peavey 3120 is much different than the 6505, the 3120 is a XXX with EL34's, so it is kind of like the bugera 333.

  • 4:00 is what song?

  • This thing kills the peavey 6505 and 5150(peavey)!

  • YEAH!!!

  • please tell me that was a joke. the peavey uses much better components and better soldering joints that wont crap out on you in a month... not to mention the peavey sounds better and is made in the USA

  • Bugera rocks - yeah

  • wgat did he play in 1:50? its awesome please reply

  • is this the original volume he plays it in? because if this head plays this well in this volume its gonna be tommorow in my garage,,,,

  • what do people think is better:

    the 333xl or the 6262?

    for like heavy stuff. eg

Parkway drive - killswitch - i killed the prom queen ect.

  • 6262 or 333xl? i cant decide. my range of playing is from Randy Rhoads to polish death metal. suggestions please.

  • before buying my 6262, i sampled the 333xl, couldnt get a clean sounding distortion out of it, it was always really muddy...even the owner of the little music place i bought mine at said he couldnt dial in a good distortion either...id go with the 6262, its a great amp...the lead guitarist in my band plays a framus kobra and he says he likes the sound of mine

  • that heavy distortion is thick !

  • marshalls are no compare. srsly, get a peavey tho. if you don't have the money, don't buy a fucking full stack.

  • i didnt know paul rudd played guitar!

  • lol i thought he slapped the bass

  • Do you have a pair of Bare Knuckle PG Blues p/ups in that guitar?

Or did you just reverse wire them yourself?

  • damn cant make up my mind between this and the 333xl.

  • Same here. The 333xl has a lot more features but id probably get the 6262 becuase it sounds a lot more like a tube amp. The 333xl sound smore like a solid state and doesnt have that classic tube feel to it

  • As soon as you can get your hands on the 1990 and 1960 I want a review!

  • there take off of the plexi and the jcm 90,

there are demos on u tube look for them,

  • When are you going to review the GA-10 combo?

It is the best amp I have ever used. look at the reviews on harmony central.

  • Does this head sounds good for rock like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix experience, The Parlor Mob, Steppenwolf, AC/DC ... ??

  • well, this amp is just fuckin great for hard rock, you may not get the vintage tone for bands like led zeppelin or hendrix but you will geta great hard rock distortion that will sound great no matter what.

  • get a Marshall

  • marshalls are overpriced and kind of over rated too, we arent all rich

  • man you are clever... well done one person that expreses as people that havent got $1,899 to buy a marshall jcm 800!!!

  • marshalls arent overpriced. they are just standard priced heads. when you get into like hughes and kettner and framus cobras and all that dishing anywhere from 2,000 to 4,000. you get your moneys worth. marshall is just a standard priced head

  • can i get a loan?

  • pfft,

    not for metal, mr ledzep

  • ok,THIS was a demo!

  • Is the intro song a mesh up of Hawaii Five-0?

  • Off the record by My Morning Jacket

  • when i use my lead channel, my 6260 makes much noises, even if i turned of the volume on my guitar. is there something wrong?? help me !!! please

  • Add a noise gate to your effects loop, if you have one.

  • Does this amp do a good plexi sound?

  • Are bugera's good metal amps?

  • if you get one that doesn't break down... Talked to the manager at my local music store and he said that 50% of the bugera amps he sold came back within a week

  • I have a BUGERA 333 XL amp and I have a metal band!!! It was the best choice of my life.

  • yes but can be suited for other stuff i mean he played country in this demo ........and rock can be played on the crunch .........

  • where`s the bugera 4x12 bottom???

  • I like the Marshall personally those greenbacks sound awsome

  • yeah i totally agree! very warm and full tone!

  • the 333xl would look better if you take off those metal plates on either sides

  • 6262 is the copy of?

  • Peavey 6505+, the former 5150II.

  • and the peavey is a copy of the soldano SLO 100

  • Off the record by my morning jacket at the beginning?

  • I noticed you are not using the Bugera cabinet. is there a reason? Just wondering if the Bugera cab is worth a crud.

  • It's simple, we don't carry any Bugera cabs, just the heads.

  • is this better than the peavey valveking

  • Will shit all over the ValveKing for distorted tones, but the ValveKing is built better.

  • Comment removed

  • Is this a better amp for children of bodom than the 333xl?

  • I have played both and I purchased the 6262 Head because it had a more dirty tube crunch to it that was more my style.

but you cant go wronge with a 333xl sounds just like the jsx head its based off of and is half the price, FOR NOW.

  • i'm looking at buying the 333xl head, but i have a question for you, which head has a higher gain at the highest levels? i sure don't like having to use distortion pedals for that "holy shit" metal tone, but i guess thats it, just, which has a higher gain setting?

  • you dnt need too. I tried a 333 of my mates had the gain at like 9'o'clock and its sickkkk. Even the crunch channel you can use for metal Haha

seriously dnt be put of by the price these amps are seriously good :)

  • Right now im using a Marshall MG100HDFX which was my first half stack so it's really nothing special. The distortion is really not enough on the amp so i have to run it with a Digitech Grunge pedal for some dirtier distortion but i don't really know if im 100% happy. I play music like metallica, megadeth, pantera, judas priest, and well thrash metal which needs some kick ass metal distortion with a nice tube sound to it while it's kickin the audiance's asses. do you reccomend this amp for it?

  • yes. take it to a tech afterward you buy it to get everything checked fully *soldering points etc etc* because they break down but the life can be massively extended by getting it checked by a tech because they'll no doubt solder everything on properly etc/

  • this amp has more of a boomy low end sound. I play the same style of music you do (early metal, thrash). I prefer british voiced amps like the Marshall JCM 800, or similar amps like a laney pro tube. This amp doesn't have that smooth tube overdrive with boosted mid frequencies that the marshall tube heads are known for.

  • Use a Hiwatt Hi-Gain.

  • yeah hiwatt rocks, i have a custom 50, but come on bud if people are looking at bugera its probably cause they dont have 3000 bucks to be buying a new hiwatt

  • which bugera has the best clean and crunch mode? I don't care about the hi gain i'll never use it. My taste is clean fender and vox crunch. thanks

  • Not for me. I don't like the sound of preamp tube saturation. A Twin Reverb and some good pedals is all I need.

  • Wow!!! Sounds stunning! Marshall cab with standard G12M? Anyway.... 5 stars!!!

  • Im trying to get a classic Marshall overdrive, what would work better- 333xl or the 6262?

  • 6262. the 333xl is more for modern rock.

  • a Marshall. haha (;

  • marshall have the greatest cabs

  • Neither!

But, you'll get a lot closer with a good pedal like a tube screamer or marshall jackhammer!

  • hahaha Jesus of Suburbia at 6:52 - 7-18

  • my morning jacket!!!!!!!

  • What's the difference between the 6262 and the 6260?

  • The 6262 has more control over each channel. It has seperate reverb, presence, and eq controls for each channel. The 6260 has a master reverb, master presence, and one set of eq controls.

  • what he said, also it has one more preamp tube

  • 7:36 - LOL

  • Yup megalolz.

  • Nice Tenessee Jed jam (5:42 6:15).

  • DAMN!

  • Does this amp have more distortion than the bugera 333xl?

  • There's plenty of gain on both amps. It would be stupid to want anymore gain. Both amps have different voicings.

  • Lets put it this way. 6262 is overdrive. 333XL is distortion. There is a difference.

  • how about 6260, ditortion?

  • is this amphave much gain like peavey 5150 or 6505?

  • Its pretty much a copy of the 5150.

  • Awesome. What tone difference is there between this and the 333xl? Also what kind of speakers is that Marshall? Cheers.

  • this is a copy of a 5150, and the 333xl is a copy of a JSX. so this is gonna be more of a modern metal beast, but the 333xl is much more versatile

  • The 6260 is a copy of the 5150.

  • what's the copy of 6262?

  • i ve used the 6260 for 7 months no prob except my dumb ass stepping on my guitar cable and fucking my hi gain input up but thats my fault most people compare the amp to a soldano

  • dude u got some skill

  • It's a shame this amp is made by Behringer...

The most unreliable, shit-producing company in the music world.

  • Bullshit, haven't really had any problem with any behringer-related equipement, so I wouldn't sau they're that unreliable... maybe all of their equipement don't sound that good, but as one can see, the Bugera amps talk for theirselves.

  • Behringer is just a developer...

  • Well, considering I'm thinking about moving from Mesa to a Bugera endorsement, I'm not so sure about that anymore. We just got out of doing demo work in the studio, and happened to use a 6260 combo. And it ran all over my boosted Mesa Rec running into an Orange 2x12. No joke. There was so much more clarity!

  • I've had a Behringer LX1200 Head for 2 years now, never let me down, it has better tone than my 18 watt tube amp, and it is extremely versatile. So don't be afraid of Behringer or Bugera
