My god that adjustable box blew my mind!! I had an entire upstairs that was screwed up by a flybynite drywaller &, well... I would have had many fewer sleepless nights afterwards if our boxes had been ADJUSTABLE and this problem easier to fix.
These boxes are exactly what I could use right now but I'll be darned if I can find a supplier here in Canada. Anyone know of a supplier in Canada or in the States I could contact? Otherwise Bob, thanks for this and the other great videos. Keep em coming!
The box brand name is Carlon and they call them zipboxes. Here in the states they are available at Lowes and many electric supply houses. You could check out Carlons website to find ways to order===Bob
These boxes are awesome! They carry them here (Austin, TX) in the box stores. They can also account for twisted studs (which I seem to run into all too often). The metal bracket has two addition screw holes for screwing horizonally into the stud. Given that, you can shim out the box and then fasten it down tight.
Hmm that could be quite handy. In the UK we don't get anything like that standard sizes here, Although we don't use as much drywall as you guys in the US.
Also how about a quick run down of your power tools don't think you have a vid about that yet.
is that plastic box with the adjustment only in the u.s????
anyways we just use the standard steel boxes or grey plastic boxes(the condunt pipe)
anyways didnt know that thanks for the vid
this is just a request too... can you make a vid to say how dangerous it can be for the "handyman" to service his own gas furnace, the idea of that is just retarded because most of them have no idea what their doing lol
Im not sure if they are available worldwide but a call to your closest electrical supply store would be a great place to start.Good luck===Bob I personaly dont mess with gas for the reason you stated!I do know how to shut my gas off in case of an emergency thou but I would get someone with training to turn it back on.Pilot lights and soforth!
