I can't help but to envy you Singaporean males to have such opportunities to experience these stuffs. Too bad Malaysia only have SELECTIVE NS and what's worse its only 3 months, pretty much even easier than BMT. Well, to say joining the army is to defend the nation(in my context) would be a lil untrue, cause I'm really in for the experience. Maybe along the way I truly gain the meaning of patriotism, but as for now my intentions of joining the army is to gain experience.

@yousg: Come on. it's not that bad. At least army keeps u healthier than most ppl out thr. Change the attitude, get in there and find some good friends. Sure definitely there are unpleasant experiences inside there and you will meet tonnes of bastards there, but I'm sorry to tell you, the civilian life, while offering a whole lot of freedom, is not exactly paradise or a bed of roses. I tell you, you will definitely miss parts of NS life after you ORDed. That being said, I still enjoy cv life

WOW I'm impressed at the fun side of NS. But i'm still convinced that NS is no better than hell. Whatever programs and residence arranged there for us is bad enough, but the worse thing is the people there, heard that they are proud, arrogant, cocky, immature, rude, violent, and vulgar; it's as simple to describe it as the WORST side of Singaporeans.
