Awesome!!! You did this so professionally and with nice scientific info! I always wondered if you had to use starch to thicken it.. but u cleared that really well.. And really cool that you had another one already done to show us the consistency.. Really professional.. Please make more recipe videos!
I am a journalist from Germany. Since I lives in the US many years ago and love the American thanksgiving cooking I tried this recipe of yours and I LOVE IT. I am surprised how easy it was.
I wish you a nice Thanksgiving. Greetings from Germany Kitty
Oh keith, stop your bottom feeding BS. Buy bottled and save time. Any cooking based on a solid-bottomed pan can suffice. There was no "cranberry" juice, there was some OJ and some red wine added to the recipe. Here's the facts people; mix cranberries, orange juice and some form of alcohol be it red wine, white or otherwise and you have arrived. Reduce and watch until it's cresting (and by that I mean thick bubbles) AND SERVE!
Thank you Keith. I followed your recipe and will never buy can cranberries again. I added extra items to your great recipe. One fresh lemon, chopped green apple. cinnamon stick, a can of dole chunky pineapple and it's natural juice, and a cup of apple cider from the local farmer. I made it one day early for thanksgiving. Outstanding!!!! Thanks Keith great video.
since thanksgivin is 2 morrow....and we want our sauce fresh...we need 2 make da sauce 2 day and STORE it 4 2 morrow...any ideas on how 2 properly store it so its fresh??? thnx
Keep in mind that standard cranberries have in them products that would make you lose your appetite fast. They grow in bogs. Chemicals and sewage drain downward into them. You want to serve organic cranberries, not ocean spray! The bulk of cranberries grow on Cape Cod. Ask anyone living there what gets into the bogs! Buy organic, trust me.
why not show the one you had already cooked for 35 minutes? are they not ready cooked nice?

How many cranberries do you use? A bag is of no use for someone who doesn't live in North America.

Store in air tight container; it'll be great. My mom has done this for years, no special storage procedures needed.

Why didn't you just put everything in the pot to begin with??

I like to add some ground cloves, and it not only tastes great, but it makes your whole home smell like the holidays! Yum!

Sing you are so right! Further, think of the canned cranberry sauce- rather canned chemical sewage sauce. . .
