  • I seriousry thoghtu there wouldu be tenutacarurs comingu out of the missiru.

  • Das ist fantastish!!!!

  • so WHERE is my FUCKING jet pack?!

  • Is this better than THAAD?

  • if japanese recreats their military free of any restrictions.....it will be one thats unmatched... the advance mfg capabilites will make this island unstoppable

  • the japanese are way too advance for there own good. i bet they have somthing better thats top secret.

  • Oh look. Funnels! Gundam has influenced the military too!

  • this is a copy of PIF PAF system of french missile Aster

  • use this shet on gundams and japan rules the world already

  • MKV everyone has one...

  • Why bother to make a copy of french weapon?

  • Comment removed

  • FAIL, Then that means the aster is a copy of the RIM-66

  • I shouldnt have to reesearh for you being as all u have to do is type in = THAAD Japanese Export in google and thiers ur proof there..or type in Lockheed Martin's Multiple Kill Vehicle (OLD) here on youtube..Come on man. RESEARCHHHH!!...Lol..jk but proof was not hard to find at all

  • This is SM-3, not THAAD...

This is "Unitary" Kill Vehicle, not Multiple Kill Vehicle...

    Redo you research kid.

  • The THAAD missile defense concept was proposed in 1987, with a formal request for proposals submitted to industry in 1990. In September 1992. The first THAAD flight test occurred in April 1995, with all flight tests in the program phase DEM-VAL (Demonstration-Validation) occurring at White Sands Missile Range.

  • wow, that is a hovering Rocket propeled object. that is rocket boosted hovering. if they perfected that imaging the use of those propulsion in big scale. US and Russia only have ground to air but not hovering,.... this one is freaking hovering! lol

  • U Do know this was given to the japenese by the U. Right...U.S Missile defense has been makin this system for about 10 years now...this is jus exported version

  • @supertrex2

This is an American design that we developed. The Japanese version is a joint effort that has some minor tweaks. We (Americans) did all of the design and development work. Not sure why we gave the technology to the Japanese Considering all of the Toyotas we buy from them we should be selling them to the Japanese not giving them our technology.

  • Good!

Watch Indian exo-atm missile defence test from my video/profile.

    Thanx.

  • I wonder why some people insist KW from US is better than Japanese one. If so, US will not need to ask Japan to do cooperative research. Nobody knows true capability of this KW since Japanese defense agency do not disclose too much information in general.

  • of course it will not devulge everything, there will be a second pearl harbor.

  • I don't know what you guys are on about, but the DACS for the KW on the SM-3 is designed and produced by American companies.

  • Zeph...is right.. We started this in the early 90's

  • wheres ur proof

  • Since 1998, when North Korea fired a Taepodong-1 missile over northern Japan, they have been jointly developing a new Surface-to-air interceptor known as the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) with the US. So far tests have been successful, and there are planned 11 locations that the PAC-3 will be installed.

  • What's PAC-3 got to do with this? PAC3 and SM-3 are completely different missiles.

PAC3 is licensed, SM-3 blk2a is cooperative development.

    You obviously don't know shit.

  • no mames esos gueyes no andan con mamadas

  • it's weird usa has a lot of missle defenses, first the sm3, then the icbm knockout, then the famous thaad, and finally the patriot.....and we just smashed a satelite with an sm3

  • fiesta - unlike your sex life, this is not fake.

  • For people who know what I'm talking about...if this thing fails does Raytheon go out of business/lose future government contracts?

  • Perhaps.... but so far in tests it has been dead on.

  • what?

  • An actual interception rate is low.

The missile defense is not military arms but political arms.

If a certain country shoots a nuclear missile into Japan,

Japan is not scared because a nuclear missile is intercepted.

    Therefore,

Japan doesn't yield to a nuclear threat.

The missile defense is effective in extent in which such a political message is

    sent.

  • cvn62 - Really? What is your evidence? Because in the tests so far it is 12:12.

  • It's...it's a GUNDAM

  • Cool, thanks for the answers.

  • I don't get it? The SM-3 is a Japanese or American missle?

  • The SM-3 is an American missile made by raytheon. Japan is developing their own seeker head for it though.

Also, I have a video of an EKV test built by Raytheon and Aerojet in 1995, and it it much faster ans stable than this one. I don't see why the japanese don't use pulse-mode, since having it on constant thrust wastes fuel.

  • Cause its not in the space? LOL

  • Because EVK is a part of different antibalistic system, than SM-3. Raytheon RIM-161 Standard Missile 3 has LEAP kinetic warhead (shown by this movie), while Egzosferic KV is a kinetic warhead of Ground Based Interceptor missile.

  • Japan and USA cooperatively is making that. We are allied. Off course,

sm-3 is US missile. But some parts are designed in Japan. US seems to want to do cooperative work now, doesnt it?

  • USA

  • The further development of this technology in Japan makes perfect sense. You forget that the wacko American Left constantly tries to slash US Anti-Missle defense budgets. With Japan as a major ABM partner in the region, the US can have it's cake and eat it too. That is, build a credible ABM defense to counter North Korea (and China, of course) outside of the reach of the wacko American Left budget cutters!

    Brilliant (pebbles)!!! LOL

  • And their pursuit of electronics and automotive technology was considered laughable by American industries as well. Now American companies learn Japanese management techniques. They may or may not eventually make a superior product, but it is unwise to underestimate their capability to learn and improve technology.

  • Why did the japanese start making their own cars? Maybe they just want to make them their own way, or try and make them better?

  • I seriously doubt that this is better than the SDACS on the current SM-3 developed by raytheon though. It seems far too slow, and unmanuverable. The japanese managed to make good automobiles, but they are so far behind in rocket tech compared to raytheon and atk that it is laughable. especially when the defense of their country is at stake.

  • Oops, see reply below.

  • This Kill Vehicle will be equipped on the new SM-3 Block II missile, and is bigger than the current KV developed by Raytheon. That's why it "seems" slower and less manuverable.

  • so.... why exactly are the japanese making their own KW? I thought the one that is on the current SM-3 Block IA is excellent. Is this KW really better, or is it just for giving money to japanese companies?
