Campbell's a very solid QB & he makes smart quick reads most of the time. He makes mistakes sometimes like all QBs but he's a good QB. Jason Campbell is nothing but Class. If you are a Raiders fan, you will get one of the more stand up players in the league. He didn't make excuses and tried to lead by example, but unfortunately got no back up from the front office. We had a garbage line and he still threw for 20 TDs. He will be serious upgrade from Russell and he is a professional. I wish him all the best and really wish that he was able to stay, but I understand and want him win it all.

Mcfadden hasnt exploded because his only two skills in college were his speed and stiff arm. He lost some speed after rookie injuries and has abandoned the stiff arm as a weapon in the NFL.

What an excellent pickup for the Raiders! So many things are falling into place: highly intelligent QB with a great work etchic; a new OC who keeps guys accountable; an amazing MLB, an upgraded OL with more looks than just ZBS; Seymour probably getting a longterm contract; new DEs; new defensive schemes coming through; great DBs in their second year. Still some weaknesses at C and amongst the DTs but there's a lot to look forward to.
I have always been a Jason Campbell supporter and always will be. I am a redskins fan, but I wish Campbell the best of luck. What an excellent pickup for the Raiders! So many things are falling into place: highly intelligent QB with a great work etchic; a new OC who keeps guys accountable; an amazing MLB, an upgraded OL with more looks than just ZBS; Seymour probably getting a longterm contract; new DEs; new defensive schemes coming through; great DBs in their second year. Still some weaknesses at C and amongst the DTs but there's a lot to look forward to.

I have always been a Jason Campbell supporter and always will be. I am a redskins fan, but I wish Campbell the best of luck. Raiders, you all just got yourselves a very good QB and a very good person as well. Nothing but class from this guy after being treated so poorly in Washington. Good Luck Jason Campbell!! :)

JASON CAMPBELL IS GOOD BUT THE RAIDERS HAVE TO FIX THAT OFFENSIVE LINE. JASON HAD TO PLAY BEHIND A OFFENSIVE LINE IN WASHINGTON AND NOW IN OAKLAND. JAMARCUS IS NOT THE PROBLEM THE RAIDERS OFFENSIVE LINE IS THE PROBLEM.

@IconListening the o line is 1 of the problems but jamarcus is the main problem (glad he got cut) he didnt even try he fell asleep in meetings doesnt know the playbook and comes in overweight dhb had a horrible year but he actually has a really good work ethic so im fine with him

Jason Campbell, not sure if you'll ever read this, but if you do, I just wanna let you know I have supported since you had your first start with the Skins. I'm a Redskin fan (2 the death) and I was really upset when I found out you were traded. I was indifferent about the McNabb acquisition, I just hoped they wouldn't let you go.

I supported you when fellow fans and other people hated on you. They said you weren't a good QB. I always said that you had no protection, and that if you did, you would throw over 300 yards a game. Proof positive when we played New Orleans at Fed Ex last year (2009). I was there when you threw over 300 yards. I don't remember you getting sacked at all. Suisham f*cked up your victory. That was your defining game. I will never forget it.

@illapine finally a real redskins fan all the redskins fans were pissed off at campbell for some reason he was put with a bad o line and bad coaching who knows mcnabb might turn out good for u guys but i kinda doubt it hes been with the same team forever so itl be hard to adjust hes old so he has like 4-5 years tops and he doesnt have the wrs he had

Mcnabb will be good but I was always hoping we'd pass on him and get Campbell when the rumors started flying. lets be honest the RAIDERS and the skins have been pretty bad. but campbell still put up numbers. i always thought.. this guy.. on a good team.. would be crazy. people can talk all the shit they want but the RAIDERS put together a nice team. now theres no excuses for them or campbell.. OH LETS DO IT!!!! RAIDERS ALL DAY!!!!!!!!
