@sdemejac I would look at a Fender Jazz bass... Squier is the cheapest, but if you can find a nice used Mexican made one then it will be much better.

@sdemejac get the musicman stingray not sure it will be cheap you'll have to look around. or you could get either a marlin jazz bass or squier standard special precision bass (it has a jazz pickup on the bottom, not the same as NOON's)
