@Prox1015 I don't know. There are awfully a lot of clips that are cut out. For instance, 0:04 wasn't shown in Everyone's ep or Luke showering at 1:14. In other trailer, Liv is seen diving and that wasn't shown in Alex's episode. There was a scene in Katie's episode in series 4 where Naomi and Emily made up and hugged but that scene was also cut out. So yeah, Skins cuts a lot of scenes. About the flashback, Bryan Elsley said one of his rules for Skins is no flashbacks.

I doubt they'd go back to Morocco. 6x01 Everyone's was filmed around last September and the cast didn't get the script for 6x10 Everyone until mid-December. All I know is that the finale will take in a prom pool party 'cause an extra took pictures. Like you said, the series will probably end with a mindfuck cliffhanger... like maybe, Rich finding out Grace's alive all along then bam, the credits roll up.

I saw that picture but personally, I think Lisa Blackwell was just there to watch or she might be an extra instead of playing Pandora. Some of the previous casts often come to visit the new cast according to their twitters. Jack O'Connel (who played Cook) even came and trained Dakota Blue Richards for the fight scene in Franky's episode.

Tbh i think this is easily one of the best series of skins to date, i think they've all been pretty strong (i watched 5 back and its actually pretty good) The characters are much more realistic (not everyones teenagers a pretty slut or a six-packed jock) and relate-able as are the issues (excluding the holiday) Its the only series ive ever liked every episode, i really hope they make series 7 :)
Am I alone in thinking Matty's character's been sidelined and insulted the most? He's become a tool unable to satisfy his girlfriend or fight for her when theres obvious competion. Does a runner like a fucking coward from the car crash and. leaves Liv and Grace for dead even if he has been set up (Drug stash under the car). The very fact that he doesn't get his own episode is a bloody insult! That says he's no more than a supporting character. How pathetic is that?

I suppose its a reflection of how Liv's initial inner strength and fighting spirit has been amputated after Graces death. Some characters evolve and devolve to the intrumental or detriment of how they'll be judge in Skin's folklore.
@Senate300 Yes! I thought I was the only one. Bryan Elsley wrote her 6x08 episode and lately, Bryan Elsley's writing is somewhat disappointing. I hope Rich slaps some sense into Liv before she becomes another wasted potential.
@chr1ztopha This season thus far Rich, Franky and Mini's episodes were great. Alexs was good. The change in direction in some of the characters have left alot of skins fans who got use to these characters identities in the last season being scrapped with personality transplants with minimal elevation of their traits we come to know, love and hate.
@justschr What do you see? The was much hyped and now undermined "Fratty" romance. Liv the once fiercely liberated, decadant rogue now an alcoholic, needy faghag. Mini whos much mythologised bysexuality scrapped for a pregnancy with Alo's baby. Rich ditching his metal persona for a more conventional look. Franky, once a shy, delicate, angrogyn sweetheart now self centered, hot headed, bloodthirsty, sexual deviant with compassionate bones. Frankys one is the most ironic of the lot.
@Senate300 Everyone's was perfectly insane enough to set up the rest of the series and to alter the dynamic of the gang. Rich's has to be the best episode of all. Alex's was strange but good. It was supposed to feel strange because we haven't watched a death being dealt with so early. Franky's had the right dose of violence and hope. Mini's has truly surpassed my exceptions. This series is surprisingly good so far. I can't fathom how some people prefer the gen 1 or 2 to the gen 3.
@Senate300 I wouldn't say scrapped with personality transplants. I can see why some people think series 6 feels random but I believe everyone acted and reacted as they should. (So far, that is.) I could relate to the third generation a lot comparing to the first two generations.
@chr1ztopha Your right there. Graces death made for some surrealist episodes. Rich's was about struggling to let go of the love of his life. Alex's was about getting the gang to commute with one and other in their time of need. Franky's was about need to escape her feelings of guilt shame through sex and combat and nearly losing her identity in the process. Mini's again had the most to say thus far. Gen 1 set the standard. Gen 2 failed to live up to it. Gen 3's on a different class.

Gen 3 not only dares to alter character dynamics and give us stereotypes and shot them to peices in each episode. I said from the beginning I would happily champion this Generation above the 2nd and next to the 1st if it plays its cards right. Thus far this season dealt some hands I never saw coming.
@Senate300 You're right about gen 1 but personally, I think gen 2 had the most excessive impractical drama: Thomas had a chili contest with a crime boss, the Cook/Effy/Freddie triangle was overdone, the Naomily storyline was too dragged down with Sophia and Manny, Freddie was killed off by an obsessive psychiatrist, Cook was able to escape from a prison and more whereas gen 3 returned Skins to its form but hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinions.
@chr1ztopha Gen 2 season 4 blew it but had its saving graces. Naomily was the best written lesbian love story in Skins history and was more soluted than the Cook/Effy/ Freddie triangle. Katie went from bitchy wag wannabe to unsung heroine. Pandora and Naomi didn't even get their own episodes which was really disrespectful. Gen 3' season 5 it was Mini's not Franky's that gave skins the kick in the arse it needed.

Season openers are usually dull, for instance, 1x01, 4x01, and 5x01. Imo, Mini's wasn't only the episode that gave the tv show the kick. Rich's, Liv's, Nick's and Grace's were pretty decent.
@chr1ztopha Mini and Nicks Eps in the 5th season were great cause they killed their stereotypes. Liv's was reminisent of old school skins. Grace's was a shot at her fairytale outlook on life. whose hardlet anyway? and What about Sid and Cassie. That was excellent.
@Senate300 On the other note, have you read the cast's reviews of their episodes, and massive spoilers online? I'm a bit afraid for everyone. I've gotten attached to them all that I can't bear seeing any of them dying again. I've heard rumors of Alo dying, Rich overdosing and drowning, Mini miscarrying and Liv ending in a hospital. So far, series 6 is only the series I actually liked every episode. I really hope it stays that way.
@chr1ztopha I try not to read the spoilers. Mini & Alo, Franky & Nick are great unlikely of love stories for different reasons inspite of Franky & Mini's mythologised sexualities and one sided girly crush. The Fratty romance after much anticipation was scrapped with Matty chewed up and spat out with ease was my only gripe. Franky's confidants can often be seen as arrogance. Liv's dependancy on Alex say's she's not as tough as we'd like to think.
Season 6 Franky's a outwardly feminised, selfabsorbed, guily, griefstricken, bloodthirsty, sexual deviant who equates violence with sex and power. Plus she plays to the darkness of masculinity. When having sex, Franky doesn't make love, she makes hate. The minute boys (Matty and Luke) get too comfortable, Franky waves bye bye as she's no one's posession.
@mgtl100 at the start she had lost her virginity over the summer which is possible she did like matty and at series 5 finale she probably wasnt ready to lose it yet thats all and she took drugs so she kind of was tripping! at the start she was pretty different but we have to remember over the summer she has been hanging with all these new friends and having sex so she just came bit more confident and got bored of her relationship at the end of her ep in s6 i thought we saw the old franky again
Perhaps grace is the one who is pregnant, and Mr. blood hides her in case someone finds out that grace is still alive and she Is the one that's pregnant and where she has been staying? Or it could be Mini. She and Alo have been fucking alot lately. And according to the trailer, she seems abit down..

@mgtl100 Franky wasn't out of character.. She was isolated and bullied before she moved to Bristol and made friends with these amazing people. She was welcomed and loved and because of that, she finally became comfortable with herself over the summer.
Nick's feelings for Franky may seem sudden but if you watched the fifth series carefully, he was SLOWLY falling for her ever since the very first episode and I believe Franky was sexually abused. It was subtly hinted here and there in s5.

Although I will say this season had some great scenes so far.

I just REALLY hope Franky realizes how much Nick cares for her. Fingers crossed that the chick in the silver dress is FRANKY. I refuse to believe Grace is dead, no it did not happen. I don't think Grace is dead. I think her dad just said that to get her away from the rest of the gang. I think either Mini, Franky Or Grace is pregnant. Mini could be pregnant with Alo's baby, Franky could be pregnant with Luke/Matty's baby (it's pretty obvious she will have sex with Luke. Or he possibly raped her) or Grace is pregnant with Rich's baby. However, the new footage of Grace could be Rich having hallucinations since his mental health seems to be questionable. His absence is telling.
I have this feeling that Grace isnt actually dead and that her dad found out that she was pregnant after the accident so sent her away so that she could have the baby and then possibly get rid of it! I mean NONE of them got to go to her funeral and see her when she was in hospital!
What we know already. Grace is dead, Matty's done a runner, Mini and Alo are sex buddy's, Alex is queer. My guess is the baby could be Franky's or Mini's. Mini's man hungry these days and Liv's promiscuity's been played down alot. In the slag stakes Mini and Liv seemed to have switched place.
alright so we know Grace died, Alex is gay, and Rich isn't showing himself... and the next episode will be Franky's centric episode and it might just answer some more question about how the story will unfold, but i could b wrong theres still 6 episodes on the way! so excited!
I really, really like this generation. The characters are all different, have personality and it's not that "sex,drugs, rockn& roll" like it's used to be in the second generation. I feel with the characters and for the first time it remembers me at the first generation and at a REALISTIC life. But i hate the writers for doing that with Grace. I love Rich & Grace. :-(

think of generation 3 as a pre generation 1, the only difference is that Tony's group started off strong and accepted each other, that is why they were so hard to break apart.
Holy shit. I love all gens of skins, but I feel like this one is going to be the most intense one yet. After watching the second episode of season 6, the episode felt empty.. but oh god.
im really loving this generation, especially season 6. they're focusing on real life things now, before it was kids taking drugs and having a good time but now its more realistic and relateable.
Grace is dead nevertheless we see her on a swing at one point and that hasn't been shown yet so, it's likely she'll be 'a ghost' all the way through this series.
@eddiemarriott I doubt it. Portraying Grace as a ghost would be against BE's rules (no flashbacks, no dream sequences and such). When Skins the movie was considered, BE established that Chris and Freddie won't be in the movie because he don't want there to be ghost-like characters on Skins. Dakota (who plays Franky) somewhat hinted that Grace isn't really dead. We'll see, though.
There's honestly nothing I hate more then having to wait a week at a time to see a new episode of this. Totally in love with this cast! Going to be sad when their time is over!
All three generations are good in a way, but there will be that one generation that will successfully succeed them all and that will probably be the one when they have James Fitch (Emily and Katie's brother) going to Roundview.
This its Just my Opinion, But for me This is the Most Magic, Emotional, and Original Version of Skins with a Realistic Sense of the Life, personally is My Favorite Generation...
@thecureisfrank objectively, skins is a nice teen show, but it is FAR from being realistic. it depicts a lifestyle that teens would like to lead while they rarely actually do. but i like that show either way.

@Senate300 You're right about gen 1 but personally, I think gen 2 had the most excessive impractical drama: Thomas had a chili contest with a crime boss, the Cook/Effy/Freddie triangle was overdone, the Naomily storyline was too dragged down with Sophia and Manny, Freddie was killed off by an obsessive psychiatrist, Cook was able to escape from a prison and more whereas gen 3 returned Skins to its form but hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

Katie went from bitchy wag wannabe to unsung heroine. Pandora and Naomi didn't even get their own episodes which was really disrespectful. Gen 3' season 5 it was Mini's not Franky's that gave skins the kick in the arse it needed.

Season openers are usually dull, for instance, 1x01, 4x01, and 5x01. Imo, Mini's wasn't only the episode that gave the tv show the kick. Rich's, Liv's, Nick's and Grace's were pretty decent.

I've gotten attached to them all that I can't bear seeing any of them dying again. I've heard rumors of Alo dying, Rich overdosing and drowning, Mini miscarrying and Liv ending in a hospital. So far, series 6 is only the series I actually liked every episode. I really hope it stays that way.

Mini & Alo, Franky & Nick are great unlikely of love stories for different reasons inspite of Franky & Mini's mythologised sexualities and one sided girly crush. The Fratty romance after much anticipation was scrapped with Matty chewed up and spat out with ease was my only gripe. Franky's confidants can often be seen as arrogance. Liv's dependancy on Alex say's she's not as tough as we'd like to think.

@mgtl100 Franky wasn't out of character.. She was isolated and bullied before she moved to Bristol and made friends with these amazing people. She was welcomed and loved and because of that, she finally became comfortable with herself over the summer.
Nick's feelings for Franky may seem sudden but if you watched the fifth series carefully, he was SLOWLY falling for her ever since the very first episode and I believe Franky was sexually abused. It was subtly hinted here and there in s5.

Although I will say this season had some great scenes so far.

I don't think Grace is dead. I think her dad just said that to get her away from the rest of the gang. I think either Mini, Franky Or Grace is pregnant. Mini could be pregnant with Alo's baby, Franky could be pregnant with Luke/Matty's baby (it's pretty obvious she will have sex with Luke. Or he possibly raped her) or Grace is pregnant with Rich's baby. However, the new footage of Grace could be Rich having hallucinations since his mental health seems to be questionable. I really, really like this generation. The characters are all different, have personality and it's not that "sex,drugs, rockn& roll" like it's used to be in the second generation. I feel with the characters and for the first time it remembers me at the first generation and at a REALISTIC life. But i hate the writers for doing that with Grace. I love Rich & Grace. :-(

@eddiemarriott I doubt it. Portraying Grace as a ghost would be against BE's rules (no flashbacks, no dream sequences and such). When Skins the movie was considered, BE established that Chris and Freddie won't be in the movie because he don't want there to be ghost-like characters on Skins. Dakota (who plays Franky) somewhat hinted that Grace isn't really dead. We'll see, though.
