A science degree, primarily computer or medical, gives you portability worldwide. You are correct sir, there are no miracles. Bail yourself out with your brain and be self sufficient. I think its sickening CA gov't wants to raise taxes 2k/year while in a depression so we can pay the way of the unions.

The prison guards, teachers and nurses union neg. these union contracts under finacially prosperous times and now we have to pay maore in taxes for less services, because they get a day off a month.

I was in Americorp aswell, i didnt join but was recruited into it and really didnt have a choice.

I have a tip as far as the food goes. We have noticed the same thing with cereal: Prepackaged food costs more. Do most of your shopping at a food co-op or farmer's market, if you have access to one. Buy potatoes, fresh fruit, eggs, oatmeal, fresh/froz. veggies, and a little meat/chick/fish. Jazz up with spices or smidge of butter. Stay away from the ice cm and wraps. ;)

I noticed at taco bell...it seems they have less items of the dollar menu...now its only a bean burrito and (something else, cant think of it) Yea...food might be a big problem in the coming future - not to fear monger, but it might be a good idea to stock up a bit on dehydrated foods.

And the taco shells seem more fragile and break more often. I usually get a few Taco Supremes and a double beefy bean burrito. The 99 cents one. I wish Taco Bell would bring back the Bell Beefer. Those were really good. I'd get 2 or 3 at a time and woof them down.

And with some nacho chips and cheese sauce. :) And yes, about dehydrated foods. And if I have too...some fruit bars and Nutri gram ones too.
