Thank you for this :) I am 12 and I just started middle school. I used to go to a private Christian school, but after the middle of 5th grade, I had to move to a public school. The kids are mean, hateful, and violent . I started being exposed to Ke$ha and Eminem. I am trying to get back on track, so I am trying to find some Christian songs that I like. I LOVE 10, 7, 6, 4, 2, but I do agree, The Motions is the absolute best and it has helped me through countless bullying and tests of my faith.

well basically skillet isn't exactly straight forward christian. all of their songs have hidden christian meanings(very metaphoric)

so yeah christian music basically is written around christian beliefs and scripture. the music often echos parts of verses or ideals from the bible. also some songs refer to how they want to live their life as a believer."normal music" reflects everyday experiences that any1 can experience.mostly love life suff christian music is more uplifting and positive mostly.
