  • so they don't like tourists?

  • According to the Burmese military government, the road map to democracy will take 7 steps and it took them 13 years to finish 1 out of 7 steps while this was reported. Tsk Tsk Tsk. With the time given (i.e. 13 years), a sea turtle could swim around and around the globe for numerous times.

  • Tja, da ist die Welt noch in Ordnung.

Die haben´s gut. Keine Hektik, schöne Natur...

  • its funny how the world talks about Iran, but when its burma, nothing to say.

  • @MrLilort It's because of the ''oil''. I'm sure we as american's don't waste our time of there trade agreement. lol

  • I'm praying for Burma

  • I love a saying of our Myanmar Army' word," do as I say, not as I do,".

  • God bless karen people And Fuck Bamar-burmese government

  • Lack of freedom is the primary cause of a lack of food and extreme poverty. The nations of Africa, the islands of Cuba and Haiti, North Korea and Myanmar are classic examples dictatorships and poverty. Anyone who speaks out is imprisoned or killed. The government controls everything. It's not a coincidence.

  • What a bigoted piece of propaganda.

    It is Myanmar, not Butma.

From my extensive experience with Myanmar, it is one of the last "happy" countries in the world. Where ever one goes, there is laughing and people relaxing.

Myanmar's real crime is not allowing their country to be taken over by McDonald's, KFC, 7-11, et. al.

People are not crushed by bills, taxes, and homes full of junk they don't need.

    That's "modern" slavery.

Help yourself & your own society, leave others alone!

  • @locatebob Ignorance is bliss...

  • @locatebob great sentiment. help YOURSELF...it's because of people like you that people in burma and north korea are suffering while you worry about trivial things like bills and junk in your house. . you must be one of those bleeding heart liberals who have forgot what liberty is all about.

  • if you don't wanna help, DON'T HELP... stop acting like you are an all-knowing guru. you are insulting not only the bamars but also the ethnic people like shans, karens and ra khines living in the forest, running for their lives everyday, afraid that their daughters and mothers will get raped and burnt alive... you are insulting all freedom-love burmese who wish to see a better burma.

  • @locatebob hahaha, yeah everyone working in your three or four star hilton hotel you mean? ass.

  • This is so nice... Thanks for contributing you dedication for this wonderful document.

  • On 12/01/2010, I have been able to watch and listen to these Historical Events of Myanmar. Thanks for recording and being able to show this Video. [MYM]

  • What a Horrible Regime in a beautifull country !

  • Nice vid but can u re-upload in 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 widescreen?

  • burma ask for freedom from india.. India leader of that time Mr. Gandhi without thinking, give them the power of ruling a country.. now watch whats happed to it..

  • @deepakjindal070 No, a "Mr. Gandhi" has never been leader of India. You may be confusing him with Indira Gandhi (No relation to the freedom fighter) or the voices in your head.

  • @bundangbear sir, with respect read more about the mahatma ji, he was the founder of Indian National Congress. biggest political party of that time. mr gandhi was the father of indian independence, he shows the way to freedom to indian peoples, for us till today, hes not a leader , but a GOD.. leader word yes, is too little for a mahatma like him..

  • hey what it is i am not able to understand how should a govt can spend pupils money on such projectsssssss

  • 12:08 In recent years a minor chink... AND THEN I JUST STARTED LAUGHING!!!

  • i never knew God was all i needed, until God was all i had left

  • OMG

  • That is the truth. And the situation is the same as " The Animal Farm" that i have read. Save Burma!!!

  • i wish burma all the best. so much ive read and seen here is sad. my heart goes out to those people

  • The SPDC is dreaming to build a country like North Korea. SPDC is the one who disintegrating Union. We must fight until they ousted from ruling power. We must wipe out current Tatmadaw completely and build a new modern Federal Arm Forces.

  • Watch HERO Chinese Movie. It makes sense for China & Myanmar! Only one ruler and one court can rule a country! Wipe out all rebels and there will be peace in Myanmar!

  • @crimsonalchemist999 n u r a retard my friend

  • god bless you, Burma...

  • Wasting life there

    No fun. :(

    Fuck the Burmese Gov..

  • One thing I like to tell you shameless bastard. My people were exploited by you guys, Burma, India was colonized by dirty British and made prostitution business. I feel like to slap your face. stop talking bad things about my people. just leave them alone. looters, thieves, criminal, rapist, murderers, don't try to fool us and play master and slave game. • Some people are wasting both air and space.

  • Burma is one of the truly ubiquitous countries in the world, stands through some stern of politics.

but just maybe beautiful liberated at the end.

pertinent of everyday life and bitter government system.

change, change soon, open your door to the free world, its only way for better tomorrow.

Burma, Laos and Thailand history goes way back.

i always have faith that one day Burma will rise out of this brain-less government and see the true sunshine again.

  • Of course the "United States" (of criminals that really rule it) don't care about democracy nor the common people, they just care about money and power. Once again, oil (oil companies being, of course, one of the main threats to human-rights and also war-driving businesses) is in the center of it all. The other thing Burma has is lots of heroin. The "USA" also "fights" drug traficking ...

  • /watch?v=FpIYC0_R0wk

  • The American oil company Unocal does business with the Burmese military government, including the enslavement and forced labor of Burmese ethnic minorities. These forced laborers have been used to build an oil pipeline. The laborers are murdered if they do not work fast enough.

If the United States were truly a force for democracy, it would send forces to Burma and take the country back for the people.

Of course, the United States does not stand for democracy in the least. It never has.

  • Long live the Great Leaders Kim Jong Il and Nancy Pelosi and thr great people who follow them.

  • Get a life, asshole. While the people in Burma starve under horrific conditions, you make posts on a video about those conditions to make cheap political points.

Go fuck yourself you worthless cocksucker. I'd fucking kill you myself if I had the chance, you fuck.

  • Hey "papsmearyou" do you know what ditto means. Right back at ya.

Go fuck yourself you worthless cocksucker. I'd fucking kill you myself if I had the chance, you fuck.

  • You worthless moron. Stop breathing. Soon.

  • @bapyou

min ga gaww, lee phyit lar.

  • The poor Burmese people, my sympathies are with you. You are ruled by madmen.

  • any body unless f**k talking ...hahaha

  • fuck u gook

  • this is outrageous!!!! the whole country is starving and they prefer to spend their money building a new capital...how stupid can that be?????

  • @alibangbang71 It's not our place to judge. Thats exactly what Bush did, going around judging other countries. We should embrace all countries and open up relations & trade. It's up to Burma how to run things and us telling them to have "democracy" is just wrong.

  • @ObamaBiden20082012 i am not even talking democracy here...i'm talking about how they treat there own people

  • @ObamaBiden20082012: No wonder you like what Burma's become. Bet you like North Korea too. And you're anti-Israel too. Yep you're a Obama/Biden fan. Another slavish lap dog to appeasement and surrender. As long as YOU don't have to live under the regimes you 'love' so much. How about living the lifestyle they have to endure. No more meat, fish, poultry and vegetables for you and your family. Electricity, medicine and clean water gone. Schools gone. And you can work for pennies a day. For Obama.

  • @MusicEqualsMemories damn right I'm anti Israel. Israel is a bunch of zionists oppressing the innocent palestinian people. The US should stop supporting it and making bad relations with Muslim countries. Also we should stop supporting south Korea and Taiwan - it damages our relations with China. If it weren't for our supporting of a few small democracies we would have much better relations with China and Russia. THATS common sense.

  • @alibangbang71 ------the whole country is starving and they prefer to spend their money building a new capital...how stupid can that be????? ----->U r assuming the Government is there to help people out. Bah I believed that at one point 2 :) Junta is there to stay in power. The Junta's power epicenter in Yangon is kinda shaken w/ all those anti Govt sentiment flaring there, so they just wanted a new epicenter where they can dominate and direct, I think.

  • @xxxdieselyyy ------2------->If I had a capitol in Yangon and w/ all those protests and anti govt sentiment flaring, that is knocking right in my spinal chord. By moving the power center away from Yangon in the middle of shitholistan jungles, u r spine remains safe, and u can direct operations more rigidly against Yangon.

Juntas, Democrats, Republicans, Congress-I, etc. etc., are all there to stay in power.

  • @xxxdieselyyy im not even assuming... u r right they are in power to rich themselves...im just pissed , is all...(-: i mean...im from the philippines and my governement is far from perfect but we have rights and we can exercise our rights and the people in burma (im refusing to say its official name) are way mistreated by the people who should take care of them

  • @alibangbang71 Its just the brainless nature.

  • Burma will never get Democracy

    Do you know, why?

No unity & no loyalty. Just an example, still remember

Sai Htee Sai announced during the revolution, he'll never sing a song unless Burma get democracy. Now, he's gone, while people are fighting for democracy he sung songs. Well, he has his own reasons.Plus some of my friends who were together during the revolution, now they are under Than Shwe became high ranking military officers, can't believe it. Hunger dominate the pride. Burma no democracy

  • I think the junta has been on to many yuba pills.

  • i agree that old men said "like Burmese govt is excely like Animal Farms )

F*****king General and S*****T all ot the army....

    California

  • Thanks very much! I've lived in Burma for 17 years and didn't know anything about NayPyiDaw, the underground or whatsoever. Only now I realised these things and there are no words to express how thankful I am. Very Well Done.

  • exactly which fuckwits were the subtitles intended for?

  • " NO OIL.. NO FREEDOM "

  • event have oil ...... still no freedom

  • keep this kind of Journalism up The USA needs to know and canada needs to know also

  • why don't Yanks bring democracy where it's realy needed..?God be with Burmese people!!!Tyrants will fall.

  • put oil you will see them came fast

  • Whenever the yanks invade some place, everyone condemns the US and whenever the US does not invade, people blame the US for not intervening. maybe we should just go back to the good ol' days when we invaded and annexed foreign nations on a whim. Kinda like what the US did with the Phillipines.

  • I fully appreciate your concern, seems like you just wake up from a dream.

Remember, Burmese people their mind was destroyed by those military people.

During 88 protest demonstration, Burmese people are the one poisoned to kill the innocent demonstrators. For the sake of a couple of bags rice & some money, they did not have an ethical attitude, whether or not it is right thing do.

    FOLLOW THE COMMAND...

Don't ever dream...that Burma will be free while we are still alive..

  • F**k the burma junta,Drug dealing scum.

  • I have developed a theory for why the vast majority of politicians in the world are complete jackasses. I think that all of the really smart people in the world are smart enough to not become politicians because all of the smart ones get shot. (Abraham Lincoln, Ghandi, Benazir Bhutto, etc.) See a pattern?

  • I really hate those War Dogs!

  • Me too man. It would be better if those bastards did not put Aung Sun Suu Kyi under house arrest.

  • why do they put the scene of shwedagon and nuns while talking about AIDS?

  • rarararararara

  • Change will come!

  • assuming that the military leaders die soon.

  • No use man, if this guy gone, other one will come who is worse than him....don't forget our history

  • Peace.

  • Fuck China! Fuck Than Shwe! Fuck Hu Jintao!

  • fuck you.

  • Fuck you too, mother fucker!

  • But don't get me wrong. The facts you provide for us public on this page should be taking as "Fact" and I do. Fair?

  • Thanks for pointed out an artical. But I suspect AsiaWorld is the Hong Kong based conglomerate corporation through out some parts of Asia. This chairman of Burmese-AsiaWorld seem just too well connected to burmese junta, also with Chinese goverment. China's COSCO needs contact in ever country its shipping fleet are unloading the cargos. After all China is being ran by Hu jintao who doesn't think twice to push "BLOOD FOR ENERGY" policy.

  • If anyone like to write to the 2 Embassies, you can find those addresses, phone numbers and some email address on my public channel if you like.

  • At about 8:45 she says two corps control 80% of the contracts for the super-expensive moving of the capital. It sounds like "2 corporation owned by Tasa" and "Asiaworld."

    Anyone know more?

  • dearpeter: "AsiaWorld" is the Hong Kong based Chinese corporation. It provides consultation and implementation of management and human resource programms. It rans upscale Hotels, Expo's, Conventions.. I'm still searching "Tasa" on the Asia's W.S(in my native asian language). So far it appeared to be globel consortion of sort, that offer expert LITIGATION oriented consultation service, But deal with business capital also. I'm sure there is more...

  • I don't think it's the same. I live in Taipei and know what Asiaworld hotel and dept store is. Here is a story with more on the Burmese group also known as Asiaworld. See tinyurl-dot-com/22nrsv

  • this is whack man.Free burmese people.damn those millitary regime.

  • yea.the burmese military regime've been writing that national convention thingy since i was in primary school and still haven't finished it after 13 years. maybe the ink in their pens keeps running out or their non-existent brains keep running out or more likely, they never had any brain in the first place. look at this old crackpot called 'Kyaw Hsan'. He cant even memorise some simple english and if u dont know how to write a map or a word, ask someone who knows like Aung San Suu Kyi

  • Very telling last words "the whole country is sitting on a powder keg, the situation of the people is worsening by hours, not days." Indeed. God be with the Burmese people.

Thanks for sharing this. Very helpful information in light of their current situation.

  • journeymanpictures

    thx a lot!

  • Thanks for sharing. Thanks alot.

  • wow .. i never knew it was this bad in Burma .. Thank God for security ...

  • With the threat of HIV spreading I can't believe such an moronic government would stop these things from making awarness. Why are people so stupid? I ask this question so much yet I never get an answer I always see examples. We all need to pull it together and know pride gets us nowhere but deeper into the fire. It's so sad... Theres got to be something I can do.

  • Actually.. you can barely live and you can barely eat.

Yes you can work but wages wouldn't even cover your travel costs to get to work.

You say "JUST no political freedom" like its not important so I'm guessing you don't know the full story of what actually happens in that country.

  • fuk

  • NO. I know that both people in Zimbabwe and in burma suffer.Political freedom is only the secondary cause. The primary cause is that people dont even have enough food and live in extreme poverty. The military torture people by forcing them to work without pay, burning down ethnic villages, killing hill tribes and raping women just because they can do so. Their leader Than Shwe, so old and with his feet in the grave yard, is still so stupid and retarded.

  • @pandora394 Not to mention that USA created this hellhole of military junta , its a dictatorship dictated by USA...

  • @pandora394 I find it funny that you said "political freedom is only the secondary cause" when everything you were referring to deals with the government fucking the people over. It's quite contradictive.

  • @esca8652 political freedom is important in the long run for a country to reach its max: social and economic development. but the ethnic villagers living in rural burma didn't even know who the president is until burmese soliders came and burned their houses down. so for them, political freedom is secondary compared to basic needs like food, clean water, shelter without fearing for their lives everyday.

  • Take note of the crying mother's child at 11:00; observe how it reacts to her. It must be no older than 3, yet it senses her mother's sadness and tries to comfort her. That's just so endearing.

  • Wonder what the comparison is to Zimbabwe
