Shadow is causeing havic and GUN thinks Sonic's the culprt. So they capture him and try to take him to prizon by air, but, as usal, sonic breaks out and heads back to earth. (lol skydiver hedgehog.) then he takes up the chalenge of making it out of the city alive.
