Gonna try this out when i do a full english breakfast sometime... Poached Egg, Sausage, Bacon, Hash Brown and some nice sliced mushroom... Can't be doing fried anymore : )
I've cook billions and billions of poached eggs. They all sucked. I'm going to try not using a flame thrower next time, and wait till the eggs are outside of the chicken.
Hi there, tnx for your comment...Well actually the vinegar will not totally affect the taste of the poached egg..The use of the vinegar is to settle the eggwhite and helps coat and firm the eggyolk..Just put a little bit of vinegar..use white vinegar..Tnx and have a nice day..
hi there. i work in a breakfast resturant and i have cooked 1000s of poached eggs and i never use vinegar and the eggs come out perfect. you just have to make shure that there is enough water to cover the egg, and that the water is boiling hot.
Hey, tnx for your comment. Well it's nice to know your style in cooking poached egg. Well at least you know that you can put vinegar in doing a poached egg.Actually most Hotels and Cruise Ships and Breakfast Chefs are puting vinegar on poach egg specialy in a continental/fusion and french/italian resto..Well i've been workin in the kitchen and as a Chef for 22 years and i've been cooking approx 10,000 eggs per annum.tnx mate!
Well, I have cooked approx 100,000 eggs per annum. I never use vinegar. Just stir the boiling water and then add the egg. Turn off the heat and let sit for 7-8 Minutes. Remove, run cold water over them, then serve.
No blackpepper needed. Just a hint of salt from the powerhouse.
isn't anyone gonna top this with, i cook 1,000,000 eggs per anum and i use vinegar. and then the next guy says i cook 10,000,000 eggs per anum. just keep adding a zero.we all know everyone here has credibility and is honest.
I have farmed super chickens that lay perfectly cooked poached eggs and each one of them lays 19,897,000 perfectly cooked poached eggs every week. its pretty good.........
hi there, thank you for your comment and for viewing the demo..sorry for that, this video was only recorded by a mobile phone..by the way WHITE VINEGAR was added to the water, coz without the vinegar, the egg white will not cover or secure the yolk and it will just break..tnx.cheers!
very good...i was wondering about the vinegar...but I guess that what makes if firmer....thank you Chef

Look it's EASY TO COOK A POACHED EGG:
1. Poach the egg (steal it from someone)
2. Cook it.
Done.

What was added to te water before the egg is dropped into it? The sound was poor at that critical point
