Lower the volume of this video to about 1/5. Enough so that you can hear Saito's war crys and sound effects of battle. Then go and open the Lost in Love soundtrack from The familiar zero OST in another tab.

Watch this video at the sound level noted above and when it gets to 0:23 seconds go to the other tab and start playing the sound track. IT SHOULD start playing at around 0:27 seconds of this video, right when Saito wields his sword and runs. Watch the Epicness unfold.

Also, he included that he wasn't even a noble or part of any royalty but he could fight the army for so long. So the captain decided that he should receive the highest honor and respect, and ordered to do that. Anyway, season 4, named Zero no Tsukaima F, is coming this January :DDD

Facing the army of 70,000, he charged through, and even knowing that he'd die, without hestitation, he fought. Not because he was gandalfr, not for trystain, and not for reputation of nobles, royalties, and the like. It was for louise. The princess concern of the two and peace, louise's for the princess and saito, and saito's for louise. By being the bait to protect louise, he eventfully protected the whole of trystain and died. That concern which turned to his bravery, it's simply beautiful.
