She was watching me run right a fter she ran and she fell over the panel and a few horses stepped on her killing her within the next 4 days! My cousin is a bull rider and about two years ago he got hurt. You never want to see a loved one get hurt. Lane Frost was the best bull rider I can't help but cry every time I watch 8 seconds. He is truly missed and NEVER will be forgotten!

I remember when I was going threw Special Forces there was this guy From Tyler Texas that was a Bull Rider he was a little man, But he was one tough SOB, He was like a compact bulldog! I like the end of 8 seconds when they are showing his rides and that one where he looks like a rag doll and gets up and walks away. Holy Cow!

Lane was great but he wasnt the best. Jim sharp(one of his traveling buddys) was the best. He rode 95% of his bulls throughout his career. Jim would go 40 bulls and buck off one and then go forty more. Lane was still great tho.

I had no idea that he died so young, 23, that's just a shame. The ending of the movie 8 Seconds just make me bawl my eyes out every time I watch. My uncle used to do this, I have the greatest respect for guys who do this, my aunt and uncle met Lane Frost several times, just a great guy. This song takes on a whole new meaning , I had no idea that Garth Brooks wrote it for Frost. Very sad.
