Falando de Violão no Brasil, não podemos de deixar de citar o músico violonista Codó da Bahia. grande amigo de Baden, inclusive trocaram música quando Codó fez a música "Um abraço no Baden", Baden retribuiu fazendo a música "Abraçando Codó".
Foi professor de João Gilberto, Gilberto Gil, Egberto Gismonti, entre outros.
