rct9303-rustler is a good truck-only 2wd though-good beginners truck. maxx 3.3 is 4wd but u can make it 2wd-front diff and shafts are easy to remove-i would go with a revo 3.3-alil more then a maxx but in my eyes its more durable for bashing-i built a 2.5r revo off ebay w/ o.s .18tm and jr radio for about 300-very tough truck, tranny is better then 2.5 maxx or 2.5 revo. hope this helps

I have a nitro rustler and a t maxx 3.3. I don't know much about the 2.5, but if it's anything like the 3.3 it's great. If you want to do a lot of off-road driving and that kind of stuff, i would recommend one of the t maxx's. If you like some on-road and some light off-road driving i would probably get the rustler, but the t maxx is just fine on the road also. I really like both of the trucks i have, so both of them are really good choices.
