  • I got the Grand Seiko SBGA029, for $7000 and trust me it didn't fail to please. The movement is better than my fathers Submariner! It loses about one second per one month!!!!!! His Rolex loses 10 seconds a day! Very good company and very good watch. Some people that are cheap would say it isn't a good bargain, but wear one first then try saying that.

  • I need to get me a Spring Drive. I want one I want one.

  • This is my dreamwatch

  • They say a watch is a statement about you...ergo...

Rolex = "I'm rich but dumb...."

Grand Seiko = " I'm comfortably solvent but savvy...."

  • Look at that smoooooth second hand baby!

  • Please ,it's nice i own several, but swiss is still king-pin. the earlier kinetics have shit capacitors, and thier quartz movements no longer have jewels in them,if you think thier cars are great ,you should drive my Jaguar, they should stop shipping the crapy model to U.S.A.,I have a V-Max motorcyclealso ,now that a bad ass piece ,but it was designed by an englishmen, even the Zero was designed by Howard Huges, lets keep it real.

  • Anyone know if a seiko watch that says its water resistant 30 meters, does that mean it would be ok if i wash my hands or if i accidentally jump in the shower with it , or a prick throws me in the pool and the watch will still work? even with no fog whatsoever? im not a diver i just need a new watch and im used to wearing one daily my old one just got douched will it make it through the things i described if the watch says 30 meters is that statement accurate

  • @samstterhamstteer yes it would. you can go underwater with it up to 30 meters. 10 meters hurts ur ears so for everyday wear u should be good

  • @samstterhamstteer you can swim but be careful diving

  • @samstterhamstteer You should be able to wash your hands but I don't know about the pool. You need a watch that is water resistant to 100 meters so swim at the surface of the water and 200 m to dive.

  • @UnBr34KaBl3 thanks, so to be able to completely submerge the thing it should be at least 200 meters?

  • @samstterhamstteer Thats what I've heard but it may very well work out just fine with with watches rated for 100 meters and even lower. It all depends on what watch you have. Some Suunto watches rated for 30m can be submerged even tough they shouldn't even resist a shower with that rating. But to be 100 % sure it should have 200m.

  • @UnBr34KaBl3 nice, thanks just to be safe i looked hard for a divers watch for 200 meters from seiko that looks casual enough to wear everyday

  • I like Omega and I think that if you can't afford one,buy a replica.

  • grand seiko- great watch!

  • yer nice, but as far as jap cars go,they're rooted,id rather drive my stroker 67 beetle anyday

  • Now who the fuck will translate all the Japanese text in that vid? It's not that I didn't appreciate it, this is quite mouth-watering indeed..

  • Seiko are the best watch manufacturers in the world. They are exactly like a japanese car, reliable and refined.

  • Seiko reminds me of future collectables! Japan craftsman even down to there $450 watches

  • looks like a submariner

  • Definitely the Sickest Watch on the Planet. What an incredible fusion of technology of the Automatic-Kinetic-Quartz Technologies for watches The only thing that even comes close in terms of Seamless fusion of Propulsion Technologies would be the "Synergy Hybrid System" found in the Toyota Prius. That Prius Technolog is a seamless propulsion system marrying the technologies of Gas/Electric Automobile Propulsion. SpringDrive does it for Watch Movements/Time Keeping.

  • in my opinion one of the best watches people have ever imagined.

  • How much does this watch cost?

  • Seiko Spring Drive is probably better than any Swiss movement. Better than any movement from Rolex, IWC etc. Well Done Seiko!!!

  • nice video and excellent looking watch.
