With all due respect, I think you are incorrect in regards to black lights not being useful as a grow light. They won't work well when you're using only a black light, but if one is used as a supplement to other grow lights their effects can be very significant. Dr. John Ott did some very interesting research on light frequencies (especially long wave ultraviolet) and their effects on plant and animal health.
