I think and Division of Abrams tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles could have made short work of thousands of those fuckers within a day just by running them over. Also the military has the capability of blowing entire crowds of those to kingdom come. A few Blackhawks with their Gatling guns could clear the mall parking lot pretty damn quick too. It's just what those weapons are designed for. Mass carnage. With the way things are now, I don't think it would get THAT out of control.

@GeneralKenobiSIYE Unfortunately the military is controlled by politicians, who would most likely be re-routing the tanks, APC's, Bradley's, etc. as well as the special forces troops to defend them, instead of letting them loose to fight it out in the cities. That's the problem. In modern war, a soldier can't fight without approval and are made to protect the power thirsty politicians and their families. That's why I like how the southern states have more guns than the north. WE WILL SURVIVE.
