I love this song so much; definitely one of my favorites from any FF OST. I find this song, I dunno.. haunting in the most brilliant fashion. I love it. c:
Nice picture. It makes me think of some pictures you see on the old Final Fantasy game booklets. (I hope booklet is the word, I don't know how to say "mode d'emploi" in english, such a shame! manual of instruction? mode of use? user guide?)
Interesting! I know nothing of Yoshitaka Amano or the tune or really Final Fantasy either, but...I HAVE read "The Sound of Waves." I found it rather a positive piece that tells of overcoming fear through positive action. The last stanza is evocative; nice piece. Thanks!
I feel like when I read the lyrics while listening it becomes a very powerful song

I know what you're talking about. I think they're called Instruction Manuals. And booklet is a word.
kliutye 2 years ago
@TwilightOfDecember Yeah, that's where it's from. It's concept art for Final Fantasy 6's main character

Oui, you got it right the first time with game booklets ;D votre anglais est tres bien lol mais "mode d'emploi" would be better as "game manual".
This is a really great song too, i love violin and piano together, c'est la crème de la crème for instrumentals.

Oh dear. You shouldn't be afraid of me. .. .. I think.
Mmm, but the picture is drawn by Yoshitaka Amano, and he's japanese.
SusumiCHAN 3 years ago
@SusumiCHAN and he is the main illustrator of final fantasy series, kind of clever the picture ^^

@Akashatattva Well...if you know the Japanese video game, Final Fantasy, you would see that this girl was in Final Fantasy V, Terra Branford
hmm...Mostly all of these songs have a picture from Final Fantasy.
I think it was genius to do that

@FFnerd27 -Well, i just saw the FF movies, i thought that is not important the girl. For me, the perfect picture would be a samurai or a geisha...
