  • Yes, TPiR was quite possibly the last show on television to use an old-style credit roll and handmade, keyed-in graphics. They did go to electronically generated graphics not too long after this, maybe a year or two after...

  • They tried electronic graphics for a short time in 1988. It went over like a lead balloon with viewers. So they finally switched for good in May, 1996.

  • Are those credits being shot by another camera and keyed out? I mean, I know TPIR had a 70's vibe to it, but the production didn't have to reflect that...

  • @silverliner269 Yes, they were. Same as in 1972 -- it's even the same font. They didn't go to electronic graphics until '98, at least. That Television City graphic was the same one used on All In the Family and Good Times.
