Nazi-Germany's fate was sealed long before Normandy. The Western Allies - among them the USA - played their role, but in the military sense, it was absolutely of secondary importance!

The Battle of the Bulge is rather small compared to the huge battles fought on the Eastern Front for 3 years before Normandy. Less important also when compared to the outbreak of Normandy.
The nuclear bombs on Japan are ofcourse of no consequence to the outcome of the war in Europe.

Furthermore: the defeat of Nazi-Germany was long decided before Normandy and therefor the Battle of the Bulge didn't ontribute to that one bit. You might want to read what one Dwight D. Eisenhower had to say about that in his 'Crusade in Europe'-book. I believe he participated in this war, but you'll probably know better.
