Question... What type of ply wood did you use? I went out and bought i think, 3/8 CDX plywood... Seems vary flimsy... I had to use 1"x1" pieces of wood in every corner to nail my panels to... I notice everyone else is nailing right into the other panels... am I using the wrong kind of plywood?
I gotta tell ya, buying from Penn-Elcom direct is totally not worth it. They charge 2-5 times more than a 3rd party company! Take parts-express for instance, they sell quite a few penn-elcom parts, but they sell them a lot less.. (I learned this the hard way, spent $224 for speaker parts direct from penn-elcom before I found parts-express. Purchased almost the same parts list for another set of speakers, a few minor changes, but the total came to only $118!
