The 747-8 is 18% more efficient than the A380 per ton. Secodly you will never see a high time A380 as they will be parked long before they get the hours.

This plane would become compitble woth the A370. he has the length en the wide of the A370. But than Boeing comes with the B700 and I think they change the type name. The problem is that Boeing can't use the materials that Airbus is using (patent rights and so on), but Boeing makes way nice and good planes. Flying wonderfully and are such good for travel and even Airbus is doing that. There is no much difference between the A350 and the B787, but but I think the B787 has more caracter.

It doesnt matter if plane was made in 60´s or few years ago, with every completely new plane t here can be problems, and Boeing 747 had them even tens of years after first flight, like TWA 800 that was partially caused by heat generating air conidtioning system installed on top of fuel tank.

This plane would become compitble woth the A370. he has the length en the wide of the A370. But than Boeing comes with the B700 and I think they change the type name. The problem is that Boeing can't use the materials that Airbus is using (patent rights and so on), but Boeing makes way nice and good planes. Flying wonderfully and are such good for travel and even Airbus is doing that. There is no much difference between the A350 and the B787, but but I think the B787 has more caracter.

In fact Quantas flight in Singapore had an explosion + they have not found the cause. Also the explosion put a hole in the wing + knocked out the 2ND engine were it did not explode a 100 miles away or all would be dead. Quantas wants its money back and to return the A380'S and buy 747-8 because Airbus made many lies to them hehe:)

@lufthansa330pilot so i heard too but they'll probs bring out summat airbus never will in a million years. like a double decker 787 that can be used at small airports aswell as large without having adjustments made. the 747 is a lovely reliable safe aircraft what has so far given 42 years of great service, boeing thinks the 747-8i will see the 747 in service another 20-30 years. so maybe the new plane from boeing will be called 747 still but a totally brand new redesigned composite design.
