Found you a couple of years back Staffan but somehow lost track. This is WONDERFUL and favourited. A great joy. Now I'm gonna my ol' guitar out: you are an inspiration.
hey you really good i was just wondering if maybe you could make a video of you teaching those guitar chords, I just bought an acoustic guitar and want to get good I already no the basic ones at the top 3 frets if you could do a video on chords that'd be great! Cheers mate
I watch all your videos and it just awesome to hear your music in just a soothing way. I listen to your music to relax me as I'm currently in Iraq and these brings me to a peace of mind and all I can say is thank you and don't stop.
its very nice, but, i just realize that your other songs have the same rithm..... come on, give us something new, I know you have it in you, just let it flow

Insufferable idiot. The finger picking pattern does not change, but remains constant through any tune that uses this pattern.....the melody and combination and progression of chords is what makes the piece, and any piece with this pattern, unique, not "the rhythm". Many of his pieces use other styles, or finger picking patterns, but this particular one is a classic standby, and ALL finger pickers use it, few so well as Staffan with his open tunings.
There are some things in life that are just good. This one one of them. Thank you sir...I am going thru a rather hard time right now, and this is very nice...
I havnt felt so lost in my own thoughts for a long time thankyou, i envy the satisfaction you have in your music and i hope to one day make something of my own with so much feeling.
you are so amazing. your music is so beautiful. im 15 years old and your music inspires me so much. im fascinated by the way you hardly ever look at what you're playing.
Thank you! The partial capo is made by a company called Shubb. I bought mine through Ebay ( There is a company in England that sell them), You can also order it directly from the manufacturer.
Nifty picking! I too have an Electric Artist I bought new in 1978 but its blond. I have just got a new acoustic guitar which I have to say is the best I've ever played:- A Fylde Falstaff. It's just phenomenal. Now my Ovation is for sale! Good luck Staffan
Nice work, Staffan... I particularly liked the grin at 0:36... :-) Definitely a toe-tapper - the DADGAD is an interesting sound and you play it well...

You can sometimes get away with using a Kyser capo backwards as the back is short and it can function as a partial capo.
syncopater999 4 years ago
Hi,
That sounds ingenious! I've seen that Kyser also make partial capos. I haven't tried one but they look really nice too.
On their website you can also find instructional videos.
Thank you for looking at my video.
Best regards
