@cky137 It's palm muting. When you come down to the strings with the pick, you mute some of it with your palm. You can probably find a youtube vid that explains it better than I can.

Good, needs training... for the violin I would play it at least 8 chords down and more piano... and the voice needs to keep the tone and be more present... this is my personal opinion....you do what you want with it.... otherwise it's interesting...
