I was there last year - fab place. A real Portuguese village minus all the tourist trappings - great place to learn how to surf or simply soak up the sun on the numerous beaches. Food is excellent plus very inexpensive. All in all - a great place for all ages with lots to do. I'll be back this year.
i've been to ericeira, great place and i would defo recommend it for beginner surfers and more advanced. rent a car and travel up the coast for plenty of other cool breaks too!
