I like luffy more than naruto, im sure with that.. But if your paying attention to the manga and watch both series, then you would know how powerful naruto has become. Luffy is more badass with his 2nd gear and kick ass techniques. But i just dont see him beating naruto. The gaps too wide. Thats coming from a die hard luffy fan.

Yes, Luffy is mostly physical and Naruto is mostly energy. But Luffy's Busoshoku Haki creates an invisible armor that defends himself, especially energy attacks. So pretty much only physical attack can be fight between them. His Kenbunshoku Haki can sense the presence of others AND know their next move.
Luffy disappears when he's going fast in his 2nd Gear. He attacks continuously while the enemy has no sign where he is. It's way beyond where a human eye can see. Although I'm not going to argue who's faster, because Naruto is fast as well. But for who's stronger? Luffy packs a lot more punch than Naruto can. Especially in his 3rd Gear, he can make his fist huge and brutally destroy anything. Can Naruto K.O. 50,000 people all at once WITHOUT any physical movement? :)

@ELRaGEDaT Naruto(at this point) Could move so fast that it wouldn't matter if Luffy could predict them they would still hit. Luffy himself admitted that his "invisible shield' or Color of the armament is not that strong.Conquers Haki Wouldn't do any thing to Naruto Cuz Naruto has strong will and it only works on the weak willed. @leohernandez480 not quite. Luffy would win. Even if naruto uses clones luffy wouldnt fall for it. Mr 3 tried to use clones as well but luffy saw right through them using pure instinct. In addition, Luffy is much faster and he can render narutos kyuubi useless though haki so there goes one of narutos greatest assets right there. In addition ot that luffy is much faster and a single punch from luffy is enough to shatter a pacifista which is harder than steel let alone narutos skull

@ELBeastable He doesn't need to heal, he can take hits :) Can Naruto simply just punch sea kings (Extremely Giant Sea Monsters) and knock them out in just his normal state? Yes, Luffy is mostly physical and Naruto is mostly energy. But Luffy's Busoshoku Haki creates an invisible armor that defends himself, especially energy attacks. So pretty much only physical attack can be fight between them. His Kenbunshoku Haki can sense the presence of others AND know their next move.

Luffy disappears when he's going fast in his 2nd Gear. He attacks continuously while the enemy has no sign where he is. It's way beyond where a human eye can see. Although I'm not going to argue who's faster, because Naruto is fast as well. But for who's stronger? Luffy packs a lot more punch than Naruto can. Especially in his 3rd Gear, he can make his fist huge and brutally destroy anything. Can Naruto K.O. 50,000 people all at once WITHOUT any physical movement? :)

Goku and Luffy are smart in their own way, they just don't have any street smarts because they grew up in rural areas and not in a city like civilization like everybody else. Luffy grew up in a small village and Goku grew up in a forest. There's a difference being stupid and having no common sense. @cursemark203 and i'm thinking that naruto will have the same durability of the uncontrolled jinchuriki forms because the armor was just kyuubi's chakra and in bijuu mode he has access to even more power than he had while in those forms.

@cursemark203 faster than naruto is debatable because sage naruto could keep up with pain who is proven hypersonic, then again lucci was able to fight luffy that is hypersonic. naruto also had a calc, which put him in BASE at mach 5. and i'd imagine that controlled bijuu mode also gives him a regular speed increase too, but for now ill agree luffy>naruto in terms of speed w/o teleporting.

its true his speed does not match but he can teleport completely instantaneously and its unknown if he has the durability of possessed forms, but i would imagine he has even more
