the FASTEST way to escape is to GRENADE the debris. I got to my ship without the Hybrid even touching any of my troops on Brutal difficulty by some well-placed chrono device and grenading all debris and running away from the several protoss-zerg battles.

I guess it is second hand news but it's a lot easier - at least on normal - to clear the cargo hall with usual units or even with Raynor and than use ARES to kill Brutalisk. It saves a lot of stress connected with possible unit lost ;)
