Wow, I have to admit I am very interested. My husband and I live in Raymond, Alberta. Our dream is to buy an acreage, have a hobby farm, and my husband wants hills, water, trees etc on the land. PEI looks beautiful, and doing this rental idea sounds fabulous!!!!
Recently we took a home that was for sale in Sunbury Cove (18 McKenna) and we were amazed at how easy it was to get that sort of rent.

Michael, shame on you! How many homes are renting for this kind of money?
Your average of $2800. is based on what? Off season and winter rentals? There are not many beach homes accessible year round.
I own a beach house on the Island - a vacation rental and rental rates are not as you indicate. Even with its' beautiful SunsetsAndSeaLights.
