Thailand 2011: Pattaya's Beachroad in afternoon

I first went to Pattaya in August 1990 and have been going back once or twice a year ever since. It is unbelievable the amount of construction that has changed the Beach Road and the rest of Pattaya for that matter. I miss the old days :)

Not quite as nice as when I was there in 1969/70 and rented a 500cc motor cycle and a bungalow for 40 baht. The bungalow was on the beach and I could get the bike through the front door. There were two small hotels at the time.
