  • This must be played with volume on 11.

  • beautifully performed

  • The more I listen to Freddie King the more I realize how much SRV, Clapton were influenced by him. THey took what he had and practiced it 10000x times over and perfected it. Kudos to you Freddie!

  • Freddie King , king of da blues, simply the best there ever was.

  • As a matter of fact, I have loved a woman, thank you for asking.

  • Yea I'm listening Freddie

  • TI AMO FREDDIE

  • i love the other guitarist's bush on his head :D

i'd like to have that haircut, unfortunately i'm white. Well i can still use a wig :D

  • @MrSitar18 shush.

  • @spamguy07 :D

  • no more dislikes please for good music

  • 2:09 Put your hands together for Jesus H. Christ on piano ya'll! Hallelujah!

  • HE INVENTED NEW NOTES

  • @keket492000 ??

  • 31 people have never loved a woman...

  • @Johnndeerjordan

    they are probably queers....

  • @steinerbos Come on men, what kind of statement is that...???? please leave the faggots alone. :D

(just kidding, I don't nothing bad, just crap comedy!)

  • 31 people accidentally pressed the dislike button when their jaw dropped!!! they found heaven

  • Whaaaaattttttttt! Now this is MUSIC very strong voice with sweet licks that is talent not music now and days

  • Smooth ass genius. Thats what i say.

  • People people, none of your opinions matter, they won't change the world and they only lead to more conflict. even more so 90% of your opinions are based on your fantasy reality. Seriously just enjoy the music and stop wasting your life by debating everyone on the internet that has a different made up opinion then you do....

  • @RemorselessGM Excellent advice.....sage observation.....unfortunately few will listen, even less will understand......

  • @RemorselessGM amen brother :D

  • Clapton tomo de acá que duda cabe! Freddie es el autentico rey!

  • Eric Clapton is fantastic, but this version is magic.

  • One of my favorites... I was lucky to hear Freddy many times in Houston in the early 70's, he played there a lot. Mostly I heard him at the old Liberty Hall. Heard Lightnin' many times there also. And, by the way, I'm a Clapton and Joe Bonnamassa fan as well. I think Joe's one of the great electric blues players today. I'm a guitar player, too. Among players, you don't worry about who's the best. It's like who's the most gorgeous woman... there are a thousand versions of gorgeous.

  • Welcome to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Mr. King!

  • I'll say it again just to piss you off because it gets under your skin apparently...Joe Bonawhatteva SUCKS! Ha! Some people take this crap so seriously WTF really? Get a life!

  • @guitarvegas No way.. I just saw Joe BonaMASSA in concert in Richmond VA and both me and my husband were impressed. You are naive.

  • thank god someone got this on tape.

  • you people shouldn't discuss weather bonamassa is a better guitar player than freddie. because he simply is. but it's performance what it's all about. i'd like to hear freddie any time any where instead of bonamassa. just as you could say joe satriani is a better guitar player than hendrix or any other. if you look at how the guitar is played. joe satriani is very skilled. no doubt! but some artists like freddie, hendrix, B.B, lightnin' or any other blues(rock) hero. they are a force of nature.

  • clapton who?

  • 31 people never loved a woman

  • THIS IS THE BLUES ! ARE YOU LISTENING?

  • @mamatatadziadek no, i'm feeling.

  • holy fuck.

  • That was great!

  • bonamassas not a zit on freddies ass!

  • i meant to say all night, actually it is difficult to say anything....some sounds are sacred....this is my love.

  • mmmmmmmmmmm, i could listen all day all noght, all my life.

  • Clapton's solo albums suck

  • your collars trippin

  • you see that face at the end??? HE FEELIN IT

  • thank you so much for posting this! i have loved freddie king for YEARS! he's my all time favorite blues guitarist.

  • Who the fuck is Eric Clapton?!

I can only see a true blues musician in this video... who's name is Mr. Freddie King!

  • @lobizoon1 who is Eric Clapton? He's the only guy ever to be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame 3 times.

  • @q8gooner Oh! My God! So sorry, Mr Clapton. 3 times!!!??? Wow, he must be a genius, those who decide on the Rock n' Roll are brilliant people, so he must be a genius!

Not like Freddie King, never inducted into any fucking Hall, I'm sure he was very bad.

  • @lobizoon1 Who said Freddie King was bad? He's brilliant. You ask who Eric Clapton is, and I told you.

  • 6:00 Play that funky music white boy #NoRacial

  • @MrBlakTy lol

  • while jamming to this track, i accidentally snap one of my guitar string this shows that blues is still very powerful.

  • @keeprocknrollalive03 thats funny, cause i was jammin to another Freddie King song and a big chunk of my pick broke off while I was trying to play one of Freddie's licks XD

  • some of the sweetest phrases. amazing vibrato and THE tone.

  • Buenisimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Have you EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEver loved a wooman??.......god what a voice.

  • Rocking the Fat Collar,, Blues to the gone, it dont get better than this

  • Man, I love his tone...and who the fuck dislikes this ?

  • Comment removed

  • the tone!!

  • Freddie had this ability to bring in the gospel influences into his singing while playing absolutely killer blues licks. I miss him so much.

Freddie, Jimmy Reed, and SRV had more crossover hits than any other bluesmen in history. While all were true bluesmen, they had such broad appeal. Watching this video, you younger folks can see why Freddie was so immensely popular. As Clapton said, "Freddie King is the one guy who taught me everything I needed to know." --Gator

  • やっぱ、フレディーつったら、これだよな。

  • hell yea

  • GAWD DAMN!

  • Trash, the only semi-impressive feat is his bellowing voice after the 3 minute mark, other then that his guitar licks lack the bluesfeel in my oppinion.

  • @dutchdude1985 wtf....

  • @cbowen61 Im sorry im sure i sound like a Clapton lover who fails to acknowledge other artists have talent too. In general im no hater, like i said this just lacks that old blues vibe in my oppinion, Clapton isnt the best guitar player but the way he can put his all into his lyrics and guitarlicks just does it for me, i recognise this to be classic, but in my oppinion it doesnt beat Old Love @ Hyde Park.

  • @dutchdude1985 Do you realize that Freddie was Eric's number one inspiration?? Eric would disagree with you 100%. Eric loves the Blues because there was a Freddie King to move him!!

  • great tone!

  • Incredible !!!!!!!!!!!! Can't stop listening O_O

.... now I understand why Angus Young [ AC/DC ] named him as been influenced by

  • few pull the clothes off so well.

  • This is the blues are you listening?...hell yeah!

  • 7:36

Did I let the chicken in the oven?? LOL

  • WOW!!

  • Fk me this mofo kicks serious ass. Clapton who? This is raw and emotional like no other I have ever seen! This is da blues. The poor guy had no other options in his life. He was put on this earth to play real blues. RIP Freddy. You are a legend.

  • one of my idols and heroes. freddie king. albert king. lighting hopkins

  • 7:35 keep em waiting freddie haha lmao!

  • FREDDIE "THE" KING.

  • FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • this is the blues, are you listening?!

  • Freddie steps into the song, and lives it, you can feel the pain.... his vocal power is out of this world, his guitar is an extension of his soul... the youtube peanut gallery of teenage sweep picking girlfriendless jackoffs can not comprehend what is going on here.. what those imbeciles dont know is that Freddie most certainly nailed all those fine ladies at 8:02 :)

  • totally badass.

  • The King Brothers Trilogy. BB, Albert, and Freddie. Is essential listening to any real Blues Fan.

  • This guy makes Eric Clapton sound like a glee club.

  • @sundiatasoulbefree please shut up. They are both kings of music, just different style

  • @sundiatasoulbefree All blues sounds like glee to you i'm certain !

  • @sundiatasoulbefree Damn straight.

  • @sundiatasoulbefree Thats a load of bollocks. They're two blues legends and freddie king had a huge influence on players like clapton, peter green and rory gallagher. I think the glee comment is just bullshit. Mr. E.C. does a great version

  • @sundiatasoulbefree if freddy king was still alive he would highly disagree my friend

  • @sundiatasoulbefree what makes you think your opinion counts for anything? Freddie is great, as is Eric and many others! Putting one down to make another better, in YOUR opinion, is childish and imature. Grow up. They are all good, in their own right!

  • @graylab2 My opinion counts because i have ears and when i listened to Mr Claptons version after I listened to this version that was the first thing that came to my mind, i am just being honest yea sure maybe it was a little disrespectful and abrasive looking back on it but it was a honest reaction, its not immature to have a OPINON that is different from yours and i never said Eric Clapton sucks I just prefer this version gee whiz you people are sensitive.

  • @sundiatasoulbefree jajajajajaja that's right maan!

  • hate it when a TV director thinks its ALWAYS better to see a guitar playersfacial expressions than the doggon guitar an fingers... major =(

  • WEARING PINKSHIT BY ANYONE WOULD BE OFFENSIVE BUT WHEN FREDDY IS FUCK IT ITS FREDDY HE WEARS WHAT THE FUCKHE WNNTS TO WEAR AND WE NEED TO SAY NO SHIT

  • @yungsu100 woah what the hell is your problem? just listen to the damn music, lol

  • For those 30; from Justin Bieber to 10, how gay are you? I still can't beleive how we get there, This is the real stuff. This is what music should be! Are you Listening???

  • that's the way a gibson should be played..and that's the way the blues should be played...great Freddie...!!!!

  • @bigtitoblues hes making that thing wail aint he?! Impressively aggressive yet captivating.

  • @bigtitoblues Freddie found his sound and pulls it off.

  • @bigtitoblues

Joe Bonamassa is the way that blues should be play....(all the respect for Freddie)

    and he was it!

  • @97MrBlues Freddy is The king, bonamassa is a plebeian..

  • @ArtPolo1990 and your fuckin stupid :)

you dont know shit about music my son

Bonamassa is the best guitar palyer in the world now

    face it!

  • @97MrBlues

I'm gonna chime in. Bonacrapassa is no where near great. He is boring and uninventive and definitely not true to the blues. I will never own one of his records. Not my thing.

  • @guitarvegas listen you prick,Joe leard to paly guitar at the age of 4,at teh age of 7 he could play SRV like SRV! so please cut the crap,he is soo inovative and he has some SOUL! he has more talent in his pinky then you will have in 5 lives.

How could he be crap when Clapton,Buddy Guy,BB King,Gleen Hughes and many many more said that he is fuckin awesome and a legend! Id like to see you play,i beleive you dont know what a guitar even is.

so please do the world a favour and kill yourself?

  • @97MrBlues

You are the ultimate douche troll bag. GET A LIFE!

  • @guitarvegas how cute aww haha!

  • Comment removed

  • I aint dissing Freddie though I'm dissing the frauds that arent in the 2.99 bin with him.

  • @wideosvatcher

Why is Clapton the "fraud"? Because he's white?

  • @JuanDeSoCal Any true lover of blues see Eric clapton for what he is. A genius. just like all the others

  • @aboveall56

    Agreed!

  • @aboveall56 Eric isn't a fraud....He just can't sing the blues like a black man...Clapton can play the blues...but listening to Freddie KIng sing....is about 75 % of this song.

  • i learned about this guy at the big lots 2.99 tape rack. best $2.99 greatest hits purchase ever. no eric clapton in 2.99 section though. weird.

  • un-f*cking-real

  • Bit faster than what I'm used to, but you don't have to play slow to play the blues. Sure you can milk a lil' more emotion but freddie does very well.

  • yess..... excellent blues....!!

  • Freddy is the real deal. Velvet voice from his mouth and from his guitar! I could listen to this all night long. fevbusch

  • Freddie was one of the The Three Kings

    Freddie BB and Albert

  • Oh my goodness, this man is a amazing. holy wow

  • 30 dislikes ??? hmmmm ?? brain damage ???

  • @clnup I know right, it is like the guitar is alive

  • Excellent Blues!

  • One of my favorite blues singer/guitarists and two of the greatest keybord players around, Dave Maxwell on piano and Deacon Jones on B-3. The threads may be dated but the music is timeless.

  • I'm transfixed. I can't take my eyes off of the screen...

  • big FREDDIE COULD HOLD DOWN the blues as well as anybody , PERIOD , OK .

  • It's quiet stupid to say of such a legend, but he always seems to be a little out of tune

  • @DoubleTrouble412 Do you know who else was always out of tune? Hendrix, Angus Young, and Neil Young. It doesn't matter if you're out of tune if you can play well.
