  • There is never enough of this kind or amazingly optimistic and wonderful work.

  • Thanks, I appreciate this no bs simple explanation.

  • weightno.blogspot.com .......very very important weight lose tips for you

  • I dont know what state you live in, but depending on the laws in your state you should be careful about the supplements your promoting. First off, L-carnitine doesnt shuttle "Nutrients", it shuttle fatty acids. Second, you should read some research on L-carnitine...

  • @Wymorej Where did u hear that L-carnitine shuttles fatty acids?

  • Hello there! Have you considered cleverous 402 diet (google it)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cooworker lost tons of weight with it.

  • Amazing video! I used to take l-carnitine and l-arginine when i had heart failure. I had a transplant, and was recently diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension. I have had no energy lately. Going to call my transplant team and talk to them about me taking L-carintine to help me lose 50 lbs. :P

  • You gay?

  • Been taking CLA 4 many yrs. A friend suggested L. Carnitine, so I just started taking that. 1st thing in the morning I take the Carnitine on an empty stomach. Wait 30 mins to eat. Right before I eat, I take a multi-vit, extra E, & a B complex pill. Also take 4 Yerba Prima colon pills(extra fiber & psyllium). Then I eat a yogurt or boiled egg. After i eat I take a CLA pill. Then take 2 more CLA during the day & evening. Take a Fish Oil pill. Is this overkill?CLA & Carnitine ok 2 take 2gether?

  • landing strip,,,,,,,,,,,,,i thought that was only for girls lol

  • Good advice,thank you.

  • Thanks for the info..Just order me some. Would taking L-Argentine be a good mix with it?

  • If you have a fatty liver can you take carnitine in low dose..?

  • @tanvirquetta1 he's muscular

  • I've looked around the Internet and they said carnitine can help people build muscle. Is this true?

  • What is the difference between Acetyl-L-Carnitine and L-Carnitine?

  • What would you say a safe normal dosage of carnitine I should take? 1000?

  • I have powder :D

  • @Grymyrk Hi mate. How do you rate L-Carnitine. I've been searching around for reviews, to know whether it's worth getting the stuff. It's bloody expensive. And if it's not REALLY gonna help much, then I can save 50-60 bucks a pop. I recently started working out- yippee - dream come true. In 3 weeks, I've lost 4 inches of belly fat!! I do at least 45 minutes cardio 3 times a week. Whatcha reckon? Cheers for any advise.

  • @TheTumboos Honestly I don't think it did much at all. I still have half the container and will use it up eventually. I'm probably going to cut my supplements down to just protein powder and basic pre and post workout supps. My favourite cardio is HIIT on the treadmill. Not for everyone but I feel great after a session. Actually since your from NZ try reactiv(dot)co(dot)nz it's where I got my L-Carnitine from, if you actually want to try it. I read that most of it doesn't even get digested.

  • well...nice video. u explained this very well...

i would love to ask smthing...for example, can u use l carnitine, in liquid form (each 1500mg) 30-60 min before u go train in gym....and like that every day..1 cap on 1 day??!

  • sir you seem to be a good person thankx for the info...very much appriciated...god bless you sir

  • liquid form is best and take on empty stomach

  • thankx, that was helpful..

  • All depends on the person...but most will.

  • @joshrubineastwest how do you feel about l carnitine injections?

  • does l-carnitine do bad to your skin/??

  • stop reading man..!!!

  • Hi Josh,

thanks for the information~ i'm currently taking L-Carnitine but i'm not doing any exercise... after watching your clip I learned that i gotta exercise to loose the weight~

I have a couple of questions though:

The L-Carnitine i'm eating now is 500mg should i take it three times aday?

Also should i do 30 to 60minutes of cardio after everytime i take the pill?

  • I would say that you should not do more that 30 minutes of straight cardio a day ever. I would say look into weight training which will increase your metabolism and help you burn fat faster. Cardio for a long time (1hour) causes your adrenals to produce cortisol which breaks down muscle which will lower your metabolism because muscle is metabolic tissue and burns fat. So if you use cardio to lose weight you will gain it back when you stop because you lose muscle.

  • Yeah, but isn't that only if you do intense cardio? You're not going to deplete muscle mass if you do an hour of cardio a day as long as you do it at a light to moderate pace.

  • @funk7000 nope cardio for an hour will be low intensity so you will lose muscle. try sprinting for10 minutes on and off and you wil burn fat

  • @squidgyskankout not true, cardio no matter what is good. the only people that lose muscle when doing cardio are olympic bodybuilders, in other words the biggest and biggest of the bodybuilders (the ones that have hardly ANY bodyfat in the first place). Cardio does not hurt the typical body builder at the gym,

  • @PbMike2005 , xD

Both cardio and weight lifting causes release of cortisol. Cortisol is nevessary for Gluconeogenesis which refers to the conversion of FATS into GLUCOSE for energy.

  • LMAO!

  • thanks, Josh!

  • I have had some people complain of that. But from my eyes, that means they do not need it.

  • does l carnitine makes your muscles weak??

  • good information, thanks

  • Thanks!

  • Such excellent, basic, fundamental information being shown and put in the minds of people who have no idea where to start with weight loss begginings.

  • You are most likely fatigued from:

    1. Adrenal gland issues: try adding in an adaptogenic herb (ashwaganda, rhodiola, etc). AS well, if does not work, get a saliva lab done on your adrenals.

  • would you recommend it for someone in the process of getting off caffeine? im on day 8 without it (never going back) and im still fatigued
