@scottinaz1 Don't know about you but I don't like to suffer the heat in a tent and this little unit looks like it might be able to power a mixer for iced drinks or a little fan to get the heat out of the inner spaces.
Thanks Michael. I haven't been camping with the turbine yet, but the solar panels do create some attention from other campers. I usually get a few folks asking about the setup each time I'm out camping. I'd imagine the turbine will create more attention, to renewable energy, which is fine with me. It's setup in the front of our yard here, and a fair few cars have slowed down taking a look. :)
That looks like a great set up you must get lots of campers coming to your camp site to check out your setup I have 170 w solar 1000 watt home made wind turbine and ???watt home made micro hydro generator check out my videos they are not the best but I have lots of fun making things from scrap
