I'm going to sound like a noob asking this but whatever: Is this game worth buying? Is the landscaping and scenery feature complicated to use? did the graphics and whatnot limit in-game variety of rides?

Well it was the genetics which got me thinking . . . how to you remove the small, fragment pieces of paleo DNA from an ancient mosquito entombed in amber without causing contamination . . . and that's when it hit me. I was reading about them scanning amber to see the bugs entombed within and I realized, why not use a spectrograph scanner, programmed to search for non-mosquito (or non-insect or microorganism) DNA contained in the amber? The spectrograph could search for the chemical signature.

Still, it's a four part problem,I think. 1: you just solved. 2: a method of extraction and identification. 3: some way to fix the holes, and I really doubt frog DNA would actually cut it. 4: engineering an egg to contain the embryo, and figuring out the steps of development the embryo needs to go through.
Most of identification and growing would likely be trial-and-error, but I did put some thought into repairing the DNA. Assuming you find individual DNA strands from dozens of cells (assuming dino red cells are nucleated and many have survived from the millions consumed in a drop of blood) and assuming the 10% of strands which differ have not broken down in the same spots, you could overlap each strand till you formed a composite, like a hundred same photos where you have a bit of each one.
That's good, but I have to contest the hit-and-miss thing. when you think about it, that would get really expensive really fast. Then there is also the concern of splicing together all these DNA strands. I don't think technology is quite there yet, unless there's something I've missed.
With splicing the strands, the biggest concern would be the introduction of DNA from more than one dinosaur specie (same animal is fine). However, if mosquitoes successfully feed (drink their fill) then they will land to digest, possibly getting trapped in tree sap and preserved. This means 1. The DNA should all come from the same animal 2. There will not be much time for digestion by the insect. Other than that, the computer should be programmable to sort out individual DNA strands. One day.

The scanned DNA fragments are entered into the computer(s). The computer then reads all the fragments and makes trillions of calculations, observing where portions of the fragments overlap. The workload is reduced greatly because out of the billion(s) codes in a DNA strand, only around less than 6% of strands differ between most species.
Iknow a computer can do it, but my question is how do you actually, on a nanoscopic scale, piece together the puzzle? Don't get me wrong, I agree with what you've put forth so far, but that question of exactly what tool you use to piece them together still hangs in the air.

Once the computer has put everything together, there are biological "printers" available which can assemble a DNA strand based on what the computer says the composition should be.
