Wonder me a lot that more and more US carriers (US-Airways, American) will operate such middle-sized and smaller Boeing 757 aircraft into European Airspace. But I think all these 757 are speciality equipped with First-Class Long-Haul seats.
I am going to las vegas flying with us airways from glasgow to philadelphia then from there to Lasvegas mccarran airport , i think they are a good flight company as i have flew with them going to florida last year at christmas , so i thought they were a fantastic flight and also 5* care taking , they would come round asking all of us if we were ok and if we needed anything
lovin the shadow, never really seen that before. Funny how a thing thousands of feet in the sky can cast a shadow like that. dont anyone go all scientific on me ha ha
i really loved this aircraft! i flew on it from phoenix to honolulu and then honolulu to phoenix just last month. I was in 11F the 1st time, awesome flight and then 24E the 2nd time, such a smooth landing which was good cuz it was a red eye and it didn't wake anyone.
No no no, from what I understand its one of the most advanced airliners in the world. I'm talking more about the size, compared to a 747 or 777 its quite small (Although its still a large plane), and its surprising to imagine anything other than the "big boys" doing trans-atlantic flights. Its more than capable of doing it though.
There are some 737s capable of transatlantic flights. Check 737-700ER operational range. I recall that one Scotish company uses 737s for flights from Glasgow to Boston or NY?
Orite Did this flight take off on the 22nd August cos if it did i took off the same day on flyglobespan heading to orlnado earlier that morning and our plane was parked right by a US airways and its was the only one i cud see in the airport at the time. wb
It wasn't a mobile, it's a stills camera that has a 5 minute video function. The steward was actually in the jump seat opposite me, and I asked him specifically for permission.
The 757 is one of my favourites....has climb power like a mofo....

Excellent a steady video and just great the way you captured the incredibly clear shadow - that made the video for me.

Thanks. It's just a shame the window was so filthy & scratched on the outside, which I never realised during the filming.
