I got your point jborg31 and it was a good one, I'm from Scotland originally I've been in Canada for 42 years. I take frequent trips back and to be honest over the years the quality and types of food have increased in an amazing fashion. We stayed at a lovely hotel on the Isle of Skye ( Cuillin Hills ) and the food in that particular establishment was by far the best I have ever had in the U.K. But I do get your point, fast food junk outlets do tend to dominate.
