Say what you want about Audi's and Mercedes's and BMW's. But none of'em is as pritty nice looking as the Simca 1501 Special! We had one, a green 75 model sedan, from 84 to 90. My mother's car, until she bought a 85 model Nissan Cherry 1,5 in 1990 (not at all the best shit I've been driving) and I got my drivers license at spring 1990 as a 18 years old boy. That Simca 1501 Special became my private car that summer.
I regret A LOT that we didn't fix up our Simca when the brakes failed in summer 1990... But we didn't have the money to do so... It would cost us 4000 norwegian kroner (like 700 US dollars) then to fix the brakes at a local garrage, and aproximatelly 15000 (like 2800 US dollars) to fix the entire car... WHY DIDN'T WE DO THAT - WHAT A CAR!
