To the layman, if you agree with Celente (that GLD will reach $2k sometime in the foreseeable future), it would seem that you are doing a prudent thing (GLD ~$1400 going up to $2k is +$600). Can someone explain something? Most investors will tell you not to go into GLD (ie. anything who's price is going up like GLD has) at this point in time. To the layman, if you agree with Celente (that GLD will reach $2k sometime in the foreseeable future), it would seem that you are doing a prudent thing (GLD ~$1400 going up to $2k is +$600). Any overbought comodity will have a bubble sooner or later because gold can not bring food,electricity and petrol from fin air ... 4. I don't see any evidance that this apocalypse preacher ever said anything about gold in 2001 5. The more people get afraid about what this guy is saying the more they buy and the more gold prices rise, Celente is a conman..

@RationalBullets I really waited for the economic appocalipse in 2009 and then in 2010...the only reason this guy got media attention is because he was saying the same thing for years and in 2008 finally a market crash did happen, now he continues to say the same thing,every year he says is gonna be worse than the last one but in fact it never was...just a crash in 2008 that shocked like a wave the rest of the world...

Alternative energy is one of the biggest lies. The fact is we were an agriculture based society for all of humans existence until the last century and a half or in other words the start of the industrial revolution. To think that we are going to make a sustainable energy source that replaces non-renewable energy sources in a few years time is naive. It will take decades, maybe even a century. At the end of this century we will still be dependent on nonrenewable energy sources.

all you have to do is not to cooperate with the system .. society has become to dependant on banks and coroprations to function as a whole. They need society to cooperate for them to function. Once that stops then the people will have the upper hand and they will have no choice but to listen. Until that happens they will only be to happy to drive us further into the dirt and squeeze every last penny from ur pocket and leave you broke out on the street !
