You HAVE TOO get arp head studs with the 6.0l powerstroke that was the weak point in those engines! Any aftermarket modification will kill the stock head bolts/head gaskets! they dont cost that much anyway!

@KB3MMX agree to a certin point. twin turbo would be 2 s2000s. The 6.4 has a dual turbo set up since there is a small turbo spooling a large turbo.

TWIN turbo means two(2) turbos, not a size or configuration. There are several types of Twin turbo as I outlined in my post.

The 6.4 is a Twin Turbo in compound configuration with 2 stages of turbo compression. Stock headbolts are good for 600+ HP but upgrading them is super easy and doesn't require the labor that the old 6.0 Powerstroke did.

The gasket itself is very good, the headbolts are the wink link. Lots of guys run chipped trucks on stock headbolts though including myself. You can pop the heads without chips on these trucks though if you aren't watching your boost levels. Turbos can stick causing overboost situations which cause the cylinder pressures to exceed what the factory bolts can withstand. or even some from the factory were not torqued to spec so you could have problems right out the bag

its a beautiful truck...sry im just used to very high horsepower trucks... my dad has a 7.3L twin garret ballberring trbocharged f350 with chips and programmers, its at 851hp and 1013 ftlbs torque lol i just used to seeing him at the track all the time doing huge burnouts...i would recommend getting a custom chip...they can make them up to 200 somth n horses for the 7.3 if u no who to go to but that shit melts holes in pistons, we rebuilt ours with trans and all
