Care who u r the kid deserves to rot in helllllll. I feel bad for the families. I'm more concerned bout y these kids have such easy access to guns??? Shits a joke
I can't stand these people who say that they feel sorry for the kids who do these things. Wtf is wrong with u. U say" these kids were tortured or teased" all kids gets tortured and teased kids r horrible to eachother. This idiot dumb ass nig without a brain decided to shoot up a school with intentions to Kill people I don't cate
This was so upsetting. I was locked into my math class and we were all scared for our lives. My friend got out her phone and was texting someone, and that's how we were informed. No one could believe it, but it definatly was happening to us.
ok first of all, What Rob did was wrong. second of all you people doggin on him isn't gna change what happened! Rob was my fuckin nigga. i loved that kid more than life. he was so sweet and fun to chill with. he had a big heart and obviously something horrible was going on for him to do this. he had to of had a reason to go and do something so horrible and not try to get help. but what gives you people who don't even know what kind of person Rob really was the right to sit here and talk shit.
@bartman464 Yeah, that's what my friend said. She was in class. Everyone in the cafeteria though were rushed into the kitchen. 3 hours of sitting on a kitchen floor.xD Was kind of fun though. A lot of us thought we were going to die so we started enjoying ourselves and the lunch ladies gave us food.
the whole district was in lockdown, not just that school, i was in one of the districts schools, and we were in lockdown for about an hour and we kept heard banging on our doors, idk who it was but i know it wasnt the shooter, haha, then we were in code yellow for the rest of the school day, so all the schools were pretty scared cuz lockdown means intruder.
@nipplesasquatch naw FUCK YOU!! hes my bro. fuck you fuck you fuck you. you dont even know him. so dont say shit. im so pissed right now. my bro died. yeah my heart goes out to them and im really sorry. but still dont you dare dog on robert.
He shot the principal for suspending him for SOMETHING HE DID. Kids, take some responsibility for yourselves. Butler chose to act like an idiot, tear up property THAT WASN'T HIS, and SHOOT SOMEONE who was doing their job. STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM. The kid will spend eternity in a sad sad place, and I didn't sentence him to that fate. I will choose to spend the rest of my life helping people and if someone decides to shoot me, then I'll rest in peace knowing I lived my life in service of others.
@jakesnod I don't think that u know that he was mentally ill. He was not rationally thinking. Him being suspended wasn't the motive it was just the last straw. He was a great kid but I am not justifying what he did because it was wrong but at the same time don't judge him. His fb status was talking about all the people remembering him for what he was like in Lincoln and that Omaha changed him in a wrong way. I feel for everybody b/c they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
@kishahraj2 you are one of the first people to rationally talk about this. this kid obviously had problems mentally but i live in lincoln and i've been to omaha a lot and to say that a city like that changed him and made him do this is crazy. omaha is 45 minutes from omaha, i'm not gonna lie, it's a very different place but you can't honestly say that's why he did it. the people who aren't being talked about are the victims, he destroyed 2 families. he doesn't deserve this attention, they do
Dynamite interview Jeremy...The kid pulled the trigger, ultimately it's the parents responsibility. They brought the kid into the world, they evidently didn't spend enough time teaching the kid self respect, the importance of taking responsibility for his life, or helping his self esteem. Is the story correct that Butler was suspended for tearing up a field with this car? And if so, who suspended him?
all of the nearby schools, including mine, was put on total lockdown. this is one of the most saddening crimes in omaha's history. i cant believe that just years after Von Maur, another shooting takes place in the same city. it is just plain scary that these two horrible crimes, within years of each other, took place in the city i call home.
Sad, my heart always goes out to the kids that commit these acts, because they are such tortured souls and are lacking the love and kindness in their lives that could have stopped them from feeling the only way to express themselves is to go to such extremes. They are children until they are emotionally & mentally developed even up to 19 years old, their bodies develop, yes but they are still kids until they reach maturity and everyone reaches maturity & different ages some older than others.
@damamcita Maturity has nothing to do with this. Even a child knows right from wrong. Troubled or not, killing another inoccent human being is never rational. I'm sure the next story to air will be about whether or not the child showed signs of despression and violence and could someone have prevented the situation. I'm a public high school teacher in what I would consider a good area, but even I would not be opposed to putting metal detectors at evey door. God rest their souls.
You a are Jaded. Your self praising comments attest to this Jaded mentally. Your comments are generalized, you are a fence sitter, until you relay your real true thoughts good or bad you are below me.
@damamcita are you fuckin crazy? how can talk about this kid like he deserves this attention. he's dead and it's a tragedy what has happened. but for you to talk about him like this is ridiculous. he has destroyed 2 families and those who knew the victims. he's not the victim, he did this. how insensitive ppl can be is so mind-blowing to me. i'm sorry for being so blunt but kill yourself is one thing, a selfish one at that, but involving other ppl, other peoples loved ones. a horrible tragedy
@JMac418 Your emotional written out burst is unacceptable and only proves you didnt think it through thoroughly. There is more to this then generalities and each case is special and complex. You have no idea what you are talking about, don't with fire....you will get burnt.
I was literally 2 seconds away from there when it happened and we were in code red for about 1 hour- it was really scary :(
