i'm from the UK and the no-smoking policy is absolute bullshit, they have shut down alot of shisha places but at least i still know of a couple of places left tho :) like jaffa's internet cafe in cambs. its really good and you get a free pot of tea LOL :)

People have been smoking hookah for THOUSANDS OF YEARS. There has been NO deaths due to hookah smoking! There is no tar (water filters any microscopic amount), the shisha is STEAMED NOT BURNED so no carbon monoxide, there is no heavy metals! Cigarettes have carcinogens, cyanide, rat poison. Even on the shisha containers it states less then .05 percent tar and that tar is filtered though the water that is why your water is slightly discolored after smoking. Learn to smoke dude.

But tar in the lungs, is tar in the lungs. The biggest reason for these bans is not the customers, really, but to safeguard employee health.
