@LaNoire27 the 1st time i heard her was on PPP cd when she did the hook for "lights out" and "one minute more"...i was so done after that..."one minute more" became my lullaby song when i went to bed....it stayed on repeat...her vocal arrangements have me frozen...im so a fan!
I feel so good when I'm listening to this Sea Star! Do ya'll hear how sincere her words and voice are? How the instruments just wrap you up like a warm blanket fresh out the dryer? ....That's true love right there!!!!
THE 1st joint that captivated me when playing Olesi 4 1st time...thought to self, GAM can hold down Go-Go too if she'd like too lol this woman is Uber-Dope!
wow this lady is so,so,so talented. i heard her on my xbox live radio station and i'm a fan now. vocals from the soul and smooth harmonies on top of that. love her melodies.....
Yo! after I heard "Roses" off of the ecstatic album, I did my research on her, and was totally amazed. I copped all of her cd's on that same evening from Amazon. This jawn right here is one of my favorites from her. " Kings Ballad", is the best dedication to MJ. check that out if you haven't already.
This song is amazing. Her style and vocals are masterful. She's gonna get so many biters in the next few years. Too ahead of her time. Im surpirsed her style hasn't been completely ripped yet. Just shows how far ahead she is. Just hope she doesn't change in order to gain more popular appeal. Patience is a virtue. Love you GEORGIA!!!
I knew the same thing was going to happen as well...I can't front, I would LOVE to see them perform together, and I love them both for what each sister brings, but I fell in love with Georgia first!
I agree sister but i think GAM has got more of a creative edge on her beats.l am loving the Tabala drum it gives it that African vibe/edge but i love them both they are the future for real!
But oh yeeeaaah, I listen to it ALL!!! GAM, Muhsinah, Madlib, Flying Lotus, Afta-1, Elaquent, Exile, 14KT, Pursuit Grooves, S-1 and Jneiro Jarel, but that's just off top... Can't forget about the OG's tho: DJ Premier, Buckwild of D.I.T.C. Pete Rock, ['97-'00] Timbaland, Organized Noize, Hi-Tek, J. Rawls and Dilla...
i think its just called black man i have heard black man(repise)i like that 1 i also like a tune called lo mein i think its called that anyway dont realy know to much about this artist but i love her music alot
No doubt! At this point, I've gotten so accustomed to Georgia's "Olesi" album that I can't really listen to songs/beats that are longer than 3 minutes anymore... lol. She's my first taste of experimental music, so I hear things differently now.
This Is pure. The song along along with the instrumental is very deep
