@ILoveYouBillKaulitz6 I think they were lovers (in the movie). Mana was burnt like a witch and turned into a vampire to get vengeance. Közi accepted to be a vampire just to be by his lover side, even when he hated to be one . At the end of the movie, when Mana dies Közi asked Klaha to kill him . I think this is because he didn't want to live without "her".

Because in the original vampire legends, vampires can be out in the sunlight normally. That is why in Stoker's Dracula, the Count appears in daylight several times in the novel. It wasn't until the 20th century that the concept of vampires having sun problems started. It is an idea invented by Murnau's film "Nosferatu" and subsequently spread through more recent fiction and Hollywood movies and media. So this movie is just staying true to the original legends, which is awesome.
