Harris is brilliant, but he's wrong about Jesus telling people to bring nonbelievers before him and slay them @ 5:23. That passage (Luke 19:27) is read out of context - Jesus does say it, but is quoting another man, some sort of king who has returned from vacation, in a parable about wealth.
So yeah, Harris is totally misrepresenting the bible there.
Also, I LOVE Sam Harris but I have an issue with one of his last statements that maybe someone can help clarify. He says there's a reason why we don't talk about "Muslim mathematics" and while I understand and agree with the point in the context, is that a bad example since so much of our mathematics were derived from Middle Eastern/Muslim development (such as the concept of the zero)? I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to undermine his point.
@PaladinHero What he is saying is basicaly that the "truth" statements of mathematics is not different with respect to faith or geographical location. 2+2=4 is somewhat an inherent truth in the system/language of mathematics. Now Muslims have given major contributions to mathematics, as has Newton and Pythagoras. So when Pythagoras came up with the Pythagorean theorem it applied to "Muslim mathematics" as well.
@gannipoo No no don't be sorry, you're English is perfectly fine! Thank you for the clarification. I thought that's what he basically meant but it just came off as a weak example to me. Like I said, though, I love Sam Harris' work and greatly admire the man and his message. Just an odd example to me is all but it makes more sense now. Thanks again!
@PaladinHero That is exactly why he used those example (ie; "Muslim mathematics and catholic physics) because even though each were instrumental in the discovery of these disciplines, we do not think of them along religious or cultural lines. They are Universal Truths which cross geo-political, religious, and cultural boundaries, and only when we can talk in terms of spiritual and ethical truths which also cross such boundaries, will we be on the right path.

Can you blame people for being absolutely confused about the God concept when the friggin' bible is so confusing, complicated, and written in cryptic form whereby certain stories could be interpreted/misinterpreted so much.
@DW01 What? So what evidence do you have that the bible is written in code? I thought it was the word of God. So God wrote in code that no one can decipher? I can answer the these questions with: did you listen to Sam Harris, you can't just make a claim that because in this day and age the intolerable situations in the bible wouldn't be in the least be bit lawful, that somehow that text doesn't REALLY say what it says. You read a holy book as the word of God as is. No Disclaimer in it.
@BluntVerbally23 If the bible is the word of God, then how come it is written slightly different in the various translations - King James, New World, etc.. ? Word are missed out in certain cases which alter a whole sentence's meaning. Google it, particularly the New World Translation that misses key words.
Also, when i say 'code' i simply mean that there are verses/stories that can be misconstrued and have double meanings depending on the way you read it.
@thickFruitJuice Luke 19:27 NIV version. The end of the Parable of Ten Minas. He says "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me"
@katinkers .... But the words, "those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me" are not Jesus' words but the words of a 'certain noble man' (v12), that Jesus is quoting in this parable of Luke 19:12-27. Do you know what a parable is? Its a fiction story that a person tells to drive a certain point.
Sam Harris is taking this passage out of context and making it seems its Jesus' words. Read the full story from verse 1.
@thickFruitJuice Of course I know what a parable is, ask yourself though - why did Jesus tell them this parable? What could the intended message be from a parable like this? The parable foreshadows what's about to happen as he's going into Jerusalem. The parable personifies what happens to Jesus, his devout followers (who are rewarded) and nonbelievers. Sam didn't misquote him. Jesus is saying nonbelievers will be killed. This is sunday school stuff c'mon. Jesus knew he would be rejected as king
@katinkers ..... Since u agree that these are not Jesus' words, then your conclusions are just your interpretation and its unfair to bash Jesus over your interpretation and not what the guy actually said.
In church this parable is normally used to encourage people to work harder for God like the steward in a parable who accrued 10x profit for the master.
Jesus used daily life's hard parables from slavery, brutality and other harsh things common to them to drive his points home.
@thickFruitJuice These are Jesus' words. I never conceded they weren't. An 8 year old can read this & see what he means. Nonbelievers will be punished. Even if you are so daft that you can't read through the very, very thinly veiled lines here, its not like its an unpopular christian concept. No, in fact punishing nonbelievers (& sinners i'll add) is very central to crhstianity. Sam didn't misquote him. He didn't explicitly say it, but Jesus did mean for the parable to be understood.
@katinkers .... The words 'But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me', are enveloped in fiction story (parable) that Jesus told. Hence he was not speaking in first person.
If I say 'Verwoed said, 'blacks are incapable of ruling themselves' '. The words 'blacks are incapable of ruling themselves' come from my mouth but they are not my words. Its Verwoed's words.
I tend to agree, that contained laughter is somewhat part of the problem of today's society. No matter of laughter, is a matter of serious action. I think the laughter is a reaction of contained intentions to do something and the refreshing feeling to know you are not alone, some other people do think like you after all, is not really a laughter, but more of an expression of mind relief.
@DrErkencho I assumed it was because many of the people in the audience didn't choose to appoint context and tone to the information they're receiving.

i wish i had a little pet sam harris to walk around with me so when i am around religious people i could simply let him destroy their arguments, i can do it as any non-insane person can, but harris is just too witty
The problem with democracy is that idiots can become leaders and idiots can vote...absolute power may corrupt but that isn't certain especially not in a civilization like ours. Democracy however is not how you build a great society, too many idiots that is pulling the society down the toilet.
It's not a problem of democracy, it's a problem of corruption. Democracy works fine, if you can weed out the wealthy minority that distorts the election process.
@AntitheistPOV Nope, anecdotal philosophy is a statement that attempts to make a claim about life, metaphysics, ethics but does not include the reasoning for claims or claims that can never be proven or applied practically. Anecdotal philosophy is like this "Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get."
@AntitheistPOV "Life is a series of imperfect decisions."
Imperfect to what? What makes a decision imperfect?
"The alternatives aren't better, they just come with a different set of problems."
What alternatives? Do you mean an alternative to the chosen decisions?
What is unexpected by a philosophy that can't be proven or applied practically? Practical Ethics is certain applicable to say the day to day decisions of your life.
Everything is imperfect by definition. Alternatives to the subject we were discussing, being democracy. MY ethics are applicable to my day to day life, yes. How that relates to proof or application to anyone but myself, I can't see.
@AntitheistPOV Well, perfection itself still requires a definition or criteria in order to identify it. Like I've said: "broadness and vagueness." If everything is imperfect then what about perfection itself? If every decision is imperfect then what about the idealized perfect decision. It would have been much clearer and less esoteric to simply say that "all forms of government have advantages and disadvantages." Something, which I understand and would agree with you.
@AntitheistPOV The difference between your statement or claim and philosophy is that it isn't full of generalizations that attempt to make obscure remarks in order to gain a veil to truth to it. To vagueness and broadness of your claim creates a message that really has no coherent meaning. It is hardly an actual rational response to my comment "Democracy still does has it's intrinsic problems though" whether in agree or not. If you want I could elaborate why democracy also has it's own pro..
The youtube comment box is too limited for me to detail the nuances of every form of government known to man.
It was a generalization, because it was a general statement. All forms of government has benefits and disadvantages. It was a response, whether you consider it rational or not is up to you.
@AntitheistPOV I view anecdotal philosophy as statements made to attempt to reveal something philosophical but are unsupported or make no impact on anything. It's not that doing so is bad or wrong, but not as good as making statements and attempting to support them or decipher if they are wrong or right.
@AntitheistPOV Well, I make responses to anyone who responds to me. We had a conversation mostly consisting of us clarifying our positions and details.
@Jessica616ify "Imagine what the US could be like if Sam Harris was president.. what I great country it would be." I like Harris and I'm an atheist but he'd be a *really* bad POTUS. Harris would be as dangerous as a religious fundamentalist in the WH. He advocates for technocracy which holds that gov is good if it's run by experts (scientists in his case). Morality is not quantitative; it's qualitative. Derived from the premise that man is an end in himself. I don't believe Harris accepts that.
@sso937 That''s a very interesting observation. I may no longer classify myself as an atheist for that reason. It makes religion seem like a legitimate view if you denote yourself as an oppositionist to it. As we both know, it is most definitely not a legitimate view. Cheers!
@dwbryant3 thanks, yes, even the most intelligent of the people speaking for religion, seem borderline retarded, wasting anymore time into this nonsense, is bit akin to going to kindergarten and telling the kids there is no santa, have a good one dude :)
People, GIVE UP YOUR FAITH. We are not entitled to faith, because it allows us to be absolutely certain in our beliefs. By giving up faith we are admitting to ourselves the possibility that our beliefs are wrong; we must search for and critically evaluate every bit of evidence in order to justify and cement our beliefs. None of us are infallible.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The Bible condemns homosexuality! Why? Because this style of life is against nature. This is abnormal sexual acts. These people misuse their bodies and perverted God's design as to human reproduction. Sexual faculties are not created for enjoyment only. Such behavior should be also forbidden by human laws. However, as we believe, God loves all people but nevertheless He is strongly against any depravity and in time will punish all evildoers, corrupted and perverted by mortal sins people.
@franciszek8D - You were born in the wrong time period, you would have fit in much better about 500-1000 yrs ago, and farther back. Take the bible and flush it down the toilet, it is just a book, no different than any how to book written today. The main difference is that at least other how to books(like construction, plumbing etc...) evolve with science and intelligence and technology. The bible is an old, stagnant, non-changing, pile of old world views having no place in the modern world.
@franciszek8D "Sexual faculties are not created for enjoyment only."
One word: Clitoris. One function: Pleasure.
Also, "abnormal" doesn't mean the same as "evil" or "abominable". If that were so, the emoticon at the end of your nickname would be evil, because it's clearly wearing glasses, and that is not normal at all.
@franciszek8D It's not agianst nature, Many animal species exhibit exclusive homosexual behavior. Stop being a narrow minded, ignorant bigot. Do any amount of research outside of religious crap please.
@MrKeenoRossi He's really just a common sense man telling it like it is, much in the way Carl Sagan, Issac Asimov, or Stephen J. Gould would have in their day had it been permitted. -We are progressing ever so slowly
As Hitchens said; Good people will try their best to do good and Bad people will try their best to destroy good people, but for a good person to do bad things you need religion. I think that is Harris's basic message here, along with presuppositions about a persons identity related to their religious background.
Basically what Sam Harris is saying is that moderates can't think logically. Sorry but I disagree. There are logical and illogical people in every group.
@terabrat No. He's saying moderates aren't being honest. Fundamentalists are the "true representatives" of their religion, because they are just doing what their holy book is telling them to do.
@terabrat No, I didn't get that. I got that moderates think logically, but forget that their wish to keep religion sacred, by hoping to keep people from fighting, try to tell us one can't say that there are verses that are really bad in the Koran, Bible, etc. We're not allowed to say that literal biblical beliefs are stupid. And this allows for the literalists to continue to read the books as they do, and hurt us in the name of their religion. To crush science, to quash condom use, to hurt us.
Can't recommend enough: "Base Instincts: What Makes Killers Kill"--Jonathon Pincus, neurologist. No implication of religion that I recall, but still very much directly supporting Harris' DAMNED (excuse) refreshing position.
Hehe. He's good at making funny analogies about religion to highlight the stupidity of it. Both the one about Posiden and the one about the diamond were good.. And I remember one he did earlier about Elvis in a debate.
@drinkbeersofty Correct!!! And, as he articulated on Bill Maher, that is specifically why he is an atheist, in major part. Most of this nonsense is inculcated into believers from birth onward.
@Sugglife A nonsense that drove people to give up their lives rather than simply renounce their faith. A nonsense that caused one Roman centurian to declare "Surely this was the Son of God. and another to walk give up his career and walk out to a freezing death in joining other Christians who refused to give up their faith. This is pretty good for someone who was either a liar or a lunatic. Christ was neither. He was who he claimed He was. The Son of God who would give His life for us all.
@Wildcard120 How is this "pretty good?" Giving up your life and career, and enduring freezing death sound like lousy consequences to me. Unless you are presupposing that they enjoyed eternal life as a further consequence of their actions. Clearly, they were thinking along these lines, or at least BELIEVING this way to act in such an stupid manner. This is why religion is the equivalent of intellectual blackmail. It assumes you have no personal ethic and act to avoid posthumous sanction
a few hundred people once believed that a fellow named Jim Jones was God, they believed so strongly that they poisoned their own children and killed themselves. People are pretty stupid, and they believe things that charlatans and liars say, it's always been that way, even in the time of Jesus.
@AmishMarine1 Unfortunately it is true. Jesus said that false teachers would spring up in the last days. You just have to be careful. I told my niece that if you hear anyone saying anything other than Christ living,crucified and ressurected for our sins then stay away. Keep watching!
@Wildcard120 Every human who is born and lives on this Earth dies. It seems plausible to me to think that there must have been at least one person in the history of humanity who suffered a worse death than Jesus. Further, Jesus doesn't actually die, he is resurrected and gets to rule the universe at the right hand of god. Where exactly is the sacrifice in this scenario? Why is Jesus' death any more special than any other human being? What about the troops who fight for our freedom?
@nightwraith666 Jesus was unique because before time itself He was with the Father. He was instrumental in creating the Universe and lived in a sort of splendor we could not even imagine. yet He gave all of that up to be human. To know pain hunger thirst fategue, everything we would go through. Until He was crucified He was never seperated from His Father. I do not know if I would have the courage to do that. Keep watching!
@Wildcard120 Those are some tremendous claims, do you have evidence to back them up? It doesn't even make logical sense to say "before time" since the concept before is contingent upon the concept time and doesn't exist apart from it. Fail!
@nightwraith666 I cannot "prove" the lenght of time Jesus and the Father were together but I know that they were together for a very very long time before Jesus took on the form of a child to live among us and death and seperation from God was a very tramatic experience. Keep watching!
@skaloon It is called faith. Either you hear the Gospel and belive or you do not. I heard it and I believed it. Oh signs and wonders did follow though. Keep watching!
@skaloon The people who I have seen healed would not call it delusion. Nor would those who were delivered out of horrible addictions and self destructive lifestyles. I will take a delusion that encourages me to hold on despite things going bad in my life,love others even though they don't feel the same way and give to those who have less than me. If there is an alternative, I would investigate it. Have not found 1 yet. Keep watching!
well the positive effects from a practise doesn't mean that what it says it's truth. it's quite simple. for example - a lot of studies are made on the belief method of healing. basicly if you completely believe that you are healthy, your brain reacts to that and next time new cells are made, the illness can vanish. it's amazing what our brain can do. God, rituals and other bullshit sometimes works like a placebo to make you believe and make your brain react to that.
no matter if you got healthy, it doesn't change the fact that you have a delusion of a non existing being or some kinda ritual thing. the problem here is that it's time to set aside all the bullshit and get into understanding and developing these methods scientificly. another example - meditation - is a really great practise to control your mind and body, but all the religious bullshit that surounds it makes it unattractive for scientists. we no longer need these medieval beliefs
@skaloon Well in response to both statements I guess we have to agree to disagree. I know what God has done for me, and even though I am going through a rough time right now I know He is with me. I do not see any alternatives. Keep watching!
@skaloon Again it is called Faith. It is strange to see how this "lie" has saved people from addiction, self destructive living, and lives that were spiraling out of control. It has fed the hungry and put clothing on the naked;
It has brought drinking water to those who were suffering from a lack of it. It has brought hope to those who had none. Our very lives our a reflection of a truth.That God is real,and people are drawn to that truth. Letting our light shine causes people to ask about God.
@skaloon Well I respect your opinion. I just disagree with it. In my experience and in the testimonies that I have heard over the years I know that God is real and has a relationship with us, and anyone else who calls on Him.
@skaloon All a person has to do is say no and that is the end of it. If anyone sees my life and asks me I will as the Bible says "Be ready to give an answer". The Great Commission is not the great suggestion.
@skaloon Again it is Faith. This "lie" that I speak of has caused people to leave their addictions,stopped living self destructive lives and in my case stopped a life that was spiraling downward. It has fed the hungry,put clothing on those who were naked and put roofs over peoples heads. Our lives in Faith shine as a reflection of God and people are drawn to it. A lot of times people come to us wanting to know why we are different,and asking us for advice and prayer. Keep watching!
@skaloon A lie on the magnitude in which you described would not survive this long. Again I see no alternative.I would investigate it it exists. Keep watching!
So let me get this straight. Jesus was the right hand man, who came down to earth....had a rough weekend, came back to life and then got to go back to his original job?
How is that a sacrifice? If he knew that the hunger and 'fategue' was only for a little while, and lets face it 33 years compared to eternity is not even a nanosecond, then where is the sacrifice?
Toss in that most theology says Jesus is God and your entire belief system becomes a bit comical.
@ThieleM Jesus as a man had the same perspective of time as we have. Although 33 yrs a a tiny amount of time it felt like an eternity being seperated from the Father. Keep watching!
He didnt have the same perspective. You just said that he was with god, came down to make a point then went back. He knew what came before and what was to follow.
By accepting this doctrine and illogic you have closed off your mind to seeing just how stupid your beliefs are.
You keep telling people to keep watching when the action needed here is for you to start thinking.
@ThieleM I guess we have to agree to disagree. I will be as the Bible says"a fool for Christ". I have not closed off my mind. I have not seen an alternative out there. Keep watching is just a sign off my version of good bye.
@ThieleM I sure have. I have thought about the millions who have been saved, delivered and set free. I have thought about those who I have seen and heard who have been healed, and I have thought of the millions who have been fed and given clothes and shelter over the years. I still have not thought of any alternatives to this life I have in Jesus. Keep watching!
Once again, since you havent seen anyone being saved, delivered and set free.....unless you are claiming to be in direct contact with God. And if that is the case you could be doing more productive stuff than trolling around on you tube telling people to watch.....well nothing. Being fed, clothed or given shelter can be from secular sources and other religions so that does nothing to prove your contentions....it is a crap argument.
@ThieleM I have seen people saved,delivered and set free. This is just a hobby one of many, and yes I am still thinking. Thank you for making me sharpen my thought process. If there is an alternative to my life in Christ. I will investigate it. Keep watching!
@Wildcard120 atheist give as much charity as christians, the same goes for muslims (of coarse not exactly the same but close) so that argument is irrelavent. there is a man in africa who supposedly heals people and has around a MILLION people who are alive today as his witness, yet i gaurentee you dont beleive him but you beleive a couple hundred second/third hand witnesses of something which supposedly happened a couple thousand years ago, do you not see the nonsense in this?
@drinkbeersofty Harris is a Jew. I have just watched his videos here, and I don't know if he denies his Jewish heritage or not, I will research this. Bill Mahr's Jewish, has he quit it? I hope so, because he surely can't put down only Christianity, or Islam. What I want to know is, something, some powerful force, or creative energy DID make us, because we are here to ask questions about it right? So, shouldn't we all acknowledge this "Force", "Creator/ energy"? Nothing religious, just a fact!
@geetarnut Very little of what you said can be taken as 'fact'. "What I want to know is, something, some powerful force, or creative energy DID make us, because we are here to ask questions about it right? So, shouldn't we all acknowledge this "Force", "Creator/ energy"?" You're making a positive statement "some powerful force, or creative energy DID make us" not asking a genuine question.

Harris is misleading his audiences.

@Ebvardh

The problem with democracy is that idiots can become leaders and idiots can vote...absolute power may corrupt but that isn't certain especially not in a civilization like ours. Democracy however is not how you build a great society, too many idiots that is pulling the society down the toilet.

Practical Ethics is certain applicable to say the day to day decisions of your life.
movcrit 2 months ago
@movcrit
Everything is imperfect by definition. Alternatives to the subject we were discussing, being democracy. MY ethics are applicable to my day to day life, yes. How that relates to proof or application to anyone but myself, I can't see.
AntitheistPOV 2 months ago
@AntitheistPOV Well, perfection itself still requires a definition or criteria in order to identify it. Like I've said: "broadness and vagueness." If everything is imperfect then what about perfection itself? If every decision is imperfect then what about the idealized perfect decision. It would have been much clearer and less esoteric to simply say that "all forms of government have advantages and disadvantages." Something, which I understand and would agree with you.
movcrit 2 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@AntitheistPOV The difference between your statement or claim and philosophy is that it isn't full of generalizations that attempt to make obscure remarks in order to gain a veil to truth to it. To vagueness and broadness of your claim creates a message that really has no coherent meaning. It is hardly an actual rational response to my comment "Democracy still does has it's intrinsic problems though" whether in agree or not. If you want I could elaborate why democracy also has it's own pro..
movcrit 2 months ago
@movcrit
The youtube comment box is too limited for me to detail the nuances of every form of government known to man.
It was a generalization, because it was a general statement. All forms of government has benefits and disadvantages. It was a response, whether you consider it rational or not is up to you.
AntitheistPOV 2 months ago
@AntitheistPOV I view anecdotal philosophy as statements made to attempt to reveal something philosophical but are unsupported or make no impact on anything. It's not that doing so is bad or wrong, but not as good as making statements and attempting to support them or decipher if they are wrong or right.

As Hitchens said; Good people will try their best to do good and Bad people will try their best to destroy good people, but for a good person to do bad things you need religion. I think that is Harris's basic message here, along with presuppositions about a persons identity related to their religious background.
Dgoosh1000 5 months ago
Basically what Sam Harris is saying is that moderates can't think logically. Sorry but I disagree. There are logical and illogical people in every group.
terabrat 7 months ago
@terabrat No. He's saying moderates aren't being honest. Fundamentalists are the "true representatives" of their religion, because they are just doing what their holy book is telling them to do.
Drgamedood 6 months ago 2
@terabrat No, I didn't get that. I got that moderates think logically, but forget that their wish to keep religion sacred, by hoping to keep people from fighting, try to tell us one can't say that there are verses that are really bad in the Koran, Bible, etc. We're not allowed to say that literal biblical beliefs are stupid. And this allows for the literalists to continue to read the books as they do, and hurt us in the name of their religion. To crush science, to quash condom use, to hurt us.

Wildcard120 1 year ago
@Wildcard120 Every human who is born and lives on this Earth dies. It seems plausible to me to think that there must have been at least one person in the history of humanity who suffered a worse death than Jesus. Further, Jesus doesn't actually die, he is resurrected and gets to rule the universe at the right hand of god. Where exactly is the sacrifice in this scenario? Why is Jesus' death any more special than any other human being? What about the troops who fight for our freedom?
nightwraith666 1 year ago
@nightwraith666 Jesus was unique because before time itself He was with the Father. He was instrumental in creating the Universe and lived in a sort of splendor we could not even imagine. yet He gave all of that up to be human. To know pain hunger thirst fategue, everything we would go through. Until He was crucified He was never seperated from His Father. I do not know if I would have the courage to do that. Keep watching!
Wildcard120 1 year ago
@Wildcard120 Those are some tremendous claims, do you have evidence to back them up? It doesn't even make logical sense to say "before time" since the concept before is contingent upon the concept time and doesn't exist apart from it. Fail!
nightwraith666 1 year ago

skaloon 1 year ago
@skaloon The people who I have seen healed would not call it delusion. Nor would those who were delivered out of horrible addictions and self destructive lifestyles. I will take a delusion that encourages me to hold on despite things going bad in my life,love others even though they don't feel the same way and give to those who have less than me. If there is an alternative, I would investigate it. Have not found 1 yet. Keep watching!
Wildcard120 1 year ago
@Wildcard120
well the positive effects from a practise doesn't mean that what it says it's truth. it's quite simple. for example - a lot of studies are made on the belief method of healing. basicly if you completely believe that you are healthy, your brain reacts to that and next time new cells are made, the illness can vanish. it's amazing what our brain can do. God, rituals and other bullshit sometimes works like a placebo to make you believe and make your brain react to that.
skaloon 1 year ago
@Wildcard120
no matter if you got healthy, it doesn't change the fact that you have a delusion of a non existing being or some kinda ritual thing. the problem here is that it's time to set aside all the bullshit and get into understanding and developing these methods scientificly. another example - meditation - is a really great practise to control your mind and body, but all the religious bullshit that surounds it makes it unattractive for scientists. we no longer need these medieval beliefs
skaloon 1 year ago
@skaloon Well in response to both statements I guess we have to agree to disagree. I know what God has done for me, and even though I am going through a rough time right now I know He is with me. I do not see any alternatives. Keep watching!

@Wildcard120
if you believe in stuff you have no evidence for - keep it to yourself. don't lie to other people, your family, your friends.
skaloon 1 year ago
@skaloon Again it is called Faith. It is strange to see how this "lie" has saved people from addiction, self destructive living, and lives that were spiraling out of control. It has fed the hungry and put clothing on the naked;
It has brought drinking water to those who were suffering from a lack of it. It has brought hope to those who had none. Our very lives our a reflection of a truth.That God is real,and people are drawn to that truth. Letting our light shine causes people to ask about God.
Wildcard120 1 year ago

@skaloon Again it is Faith. This "lie" that I speak of has caused people to leave their addictions,stopped living self destructive lives and in my case stopped a life that was spiraling downward. It has fed the hungry,put clothing on those who were naked and put roofs over peoples heads. Our lives in Faith shine as a reflection of God and people are drawn to it. A lot of times people come to us wanting to know why we are different,and asking us for advice and prayer. Keep watching!

@Wildcard120
