I personally think Scheff did alright this time vocally. I just hate it when he switches to falsetto to cheat his way out of singing full-voice in the higher parts. He took the role of lead tenor for a reason: to sing the parts of Peter Cetera and play the parts of Peter Cetera. Cetera never used falsetto to cheat live. He's done that since the beginning. Just awful when he does that.

Jason Scheff is my godfather. This is a song about a tough time that he was going through. Because of the court proceedings, I'm not sure if I can say anything yet. But Rico the 14 year old is probably old enough now that it doesn't matter. Great, great song.
