Scheuer and bin Laden BOTH worked for CIA. If people do not trust the media and government, why in the world we would believe former CIA agents?
If US bases in Saudi Arabia might sound as a reasonable excuse, Palestinian issue does not.
1) Al-Qaeda has never attacked Israel.
2) It took 3-4 years to plan 9/11. In 1997 Israel was about to give half Jerusalem to Arafat. The relationship between Israel and Palestinians was better than at any time before.
