Wow. How about addressing the points raised? IMO if you show a move it should be one that can work when the opponent actually knows what he is doing. I prefer to not depend upon him being of lower skill than I. If he is good enough to get into a good position then I have to assume he is at my level if not better.
So basically the guy is good enough to pass you guard but can't do side mount properly? And off the pass: who would continue passing when you have got the underhook like that? The passer would be looking for that as it's a basic part of the pass so if he loses it or can't get it he won't pass until he has addressed that issue.
@scbr Thanks for the feedback I guess I need to go back to the drawing board. Geez I wonder if their is a nearby school that could help me refine these techs? You wouldn't know of one by any chance would you?
You see many variations of the side mount escape, some look impractical others take too many steps, yours seems to balance out the right type of technic without having to learn a bunch of steps. Nice work.
My only correction for this video is in regards to the video description... Shouldn't it say: "Brought to you by Team Delima BLACK belt: Jay Bell" ;)
Congrats on the Black Belt, Jay- and keep up the great work!

Great technique but I usually just turn away from him or go for Jail Break.

There is a school in Cromwell that has a real black belt, Formiga, teaching.
