  • You talked about how your kids have to go through some of your bullshit! Well, that's a good thing so that you will have an idea how gays and lesbians are bullied and discriminated in school because of your fucked-up misintrepretation of the scripture! God heard the cries of the lesbian and gay Saints who suffered because of you!

  • Yes, he is bisexual. But still claims to be a "heterosexual man with issues". This is really the same thing as bisexual.

  • excuse me rich bastard

  • even if you believe in crap you can't f**k with nature, poor bastard

  • Thank you Ted for showing us the true colours of religion.

  • If you hold any degree of tolerance and understanding in your worldview for anything or anyone in the USA who is "Christian", you need to rethink your ethics and morals. Your destructive force in the world is not unnoted.

  • Sorry he got caught that's all. All of them are hypocrites of the highest degree. Shithead evangelists taking advantage and thinking that a lame apology can fix it.

  • He owes an aplogy to his family and gay people - but not his church. Anyone who is a christian is an blind cult member and deserves nothing.

  • One can look at him and tell by his mannerisms he is gay. There is evidence that homosexuality is genetic, so I hope that he accepts if and when his kids come out being gay. I also hope that their father's rants did not keep his children in the closet longer.

  • duuuuhhhhhh, g a y....

  • If this man truly believed he would burn in Hell for eternity because of his actions, he wouldn't have done them. Just shows that deep down, most people who profess to be religious don't really rally believe it.

  • @mattlifeit or could be that he really is religious and believes his own sins will get him into hell. He wants to change, but doesn't want to admit he was born gay; so he takes out his angst on other gays in an effort to somehow cure himself. Whenever we see someone feverishly bashing others for consensual actions, you can bet they are doing it themselves. E.g. "Rev" Grant Storms in NOLA. True gay basher for years. Read up on what he did recently...

  • "this sin" didn't "arrive in your life." You are gay and were born that way. Accept it. It is not a sin. It is who you are.

  • this loser is sorry he got caught...that's all he's sorry for...sack of shit!

  • u think he begs for cock and meth like he begs for forgiveness here

  • @ageshero...

Turn away from your Jesus delusion.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster loves you.

  • @Stebsey1 Kinda funny, kinda not, but i give you the humor side, I love my Jesus, man.

  • I'm just wondering. In America, you're respected for believing in and spewing out fairytales? Damn, I could become famous there too! :)

  • @Pinkaugust yep. and if you actually think critically and eschew fairy tales, you are outcast here in America.

  • this doesn't sound genuine at all!

  • We are all filthy, So sick and dirty, we have done terrible things to ourselves and one another.

WE are all guilty of Sin, and we all need forgiveness in Christ Jesus.

Jesus, forgive these people for their comments to a man who wholeheartedly apologizes.

  • @ageshero Wow you need some help i think.

  • @aodonnell51 :{

  • @ageshero The only thing he's sorry about is being caught.

  • @2cabs2toucan You are so right.

  • @ageshero Are. You. Insane? What a bunch of slaves you all are to these scams by closeted bigots who DO NOT understand how the world or the human mind works. They just...don't...know...anything. This guy is a liar and he is VERY gay.

  • @mjmanning123 It's only my concern that people would rather scream about home much of a bone smoker the guy is, rather than forgiving him for doing what he did, or even forgiving him for how much of a lieing douche hes' being.

  • @ageshero Only apologized because he got caught doing what is natural for him. If he had not gotten caught, you can bank that he'd still be smoking pole right now.

  • @christianne1975 That's not very nice, lol. but okay, I just think people should be kinder in this world, and certainly a bit more forgivning to his lies, or his other actions.

  • @ageshero thanks. :) i thought it was kinda cute... but seriously, tho his actions were hypocritical, I do understand that this often happens to people, where they believe in something, yet their own biology is different from what they believe or teach, thus it is a difficult struggle. In their quest to change themselves, they preach passionately to change others. Thus whenever we see someone preaching out valiantly against others, just know they are struggling with the same "sin."

  • @ageshero We just saw "Jesus Camp." There is a clip of Ted preaching against homosexuality... and he was in a homosexual relationship during this time. Ted also patronized the cameraman by saying to him "I know what you did last night," and "repent." Ted was incredibly arrogant in comments and his awful "jokes" on stage at others' expense. Later, he talked down to a sincere young boy (Levi) who wanted to be a preacher. These poor children: indoctrinated by adults for adult political agenda.

  • I just wonder how many children wanted to take his/her own life because of this man? He's a hypocrite and needs to be forgiven, but not forgotten. In my eyes, he's a horrible man. To all those gay teen and adults - don't give up - you're loved no matter what/who you are. Don't let *icks like this hurt you. WE NEED TO OUT THEM and bring them to their knees!

  • so much for following Gods religion

  • @Antidote54 Religion is about forcing people to be clones. It is hypocritical: that they say that god loves individuals, but you cannot be yourself in this religion. You have to be a clone of what is preached, or they threaten you with hellfire. I am heterosexual, believe in honesty and helping others because it is the right thing, but I am still told I am going to hell for not believing in rants. My stance is that if one must threaten me to believe, then it doesn't have much to stand on.

  • Ted Haggard is a typical example of the old truth: The more insecure a man is about his own sexuality, the more he will hate gays in an attempt to distance himself from them. Come on Ted - just get it over with and get out of the closet.

  • slimey hypocrite and cock eyed with it.

  • apologizing for 'sin that arrived in [your] life' is totally outrageous! 'Sin' doesnt 'arrive' you JACKASS! YOU DECIDED TO ACT BADLY, IT WAS YOUR CHOICE! You cannot apologize until you accept what you chose to do, acknowledge that YOU were WRONG, and then sincerely rebuff yourself for your own actions! This asshole isn't sorry, he's insane. It's entirely different!

  • It's amazing to me how many crude, lewd, rude and foul-mouthed bloggers give their hate-filled, mindless comments about another flawed human being. All of you...look in a mirror...and then shut up!

  • @ThomasPedigo thank you.

  • @ThomasPedigo If he didn't preach so forcifully against gays -- all the while being gay himself -- he would not get this sort of treatment in return. He is a hypocrite. No one is perfect, but a raving hypocrite is just a bit lower than the rest. At least getting caught shut up his venom against his fellow man.

  • He should be apologizing to the gay community for all the shit he talked about gays while he was doing the same acts he condemed as sin. He is gay man living in denial....this is sad.

  • @B4mytyme

I think he apologized... But if he wouldn't have been caught for his homosexual activities he would still act hypocrite and preach his fundamentalistic bible crap about homosexuality.

  • Typical christian .. hypocrite all the way. What a dick.

  • It's more than just the shame u caused church members and family. Ted's actions caused people to leave the church, and turned fence sitting christians into cynics. How many souls were lost because of Ted Haggard? He did more damage to christianity than any evangelical atheist could ever dream of.

  • @vamale692005 One should not base faith on another flawed human being -- especially one who exudes as much arrogance as Ted. Ted would have been better off staying home and accepting his homosexuality instead of doing what he did. He misled thousands of others against their fellow man for a so-called "sin" that he himself does. BTW, being homosexual is no more a sin than being heterosexual.

  • He also apologized to the gay community which is a huge step in the right direction through the childishness that permeates so much of the Evangelical movement.

  • Hes only sorry because he got caught. The hurt he caused for years to the Gay community and he has never once apologised to THEM! Shameful hypocrite...

  • A true man who can stand before the world and admit sin, shame and apologise. To the people who are still condemning Mr Haggard, look at your own life and the secrets that you don't want the world to know about. We've all done stupid wicked selfish things and it was only God's loving mercy which saved us.God bless you and your family Mr Haggard, I pray you are whole again.

  • Has God told you that the word apologize has a z in it and not an s?

  • @Truthshallsetu3 He is not a "true man." He is a materialistic, arrogant liar who was caught being a ranting hypocrite. He did not willingly "admit" anything. He was "caught" plain and simple. And thing is, he even lied AFTER he was caught, and only came clean when it became increasingly obvious he could not cover up the evidence stacked against him. That is not a man; that is a coward. Unlike people like Ted, many people "secrets" that do not harm others and who are not hypocrites.

  • Mr. Haggard, I just want you to know that I Love you. I don't understand those who find it so difficult to forgive you. Yes, there was shame brought on "MOSTLY TO YOUR FAMILY" but that does not give anyone the right to judge you. WE ONLY HAVE ONE JUDGE and if he is willing to accept you as his child who does anyone else thing they are. I also applaud your wife and honor her for her dedication to you. I would have done the same for my husband. May GOD continue to hold you in his loving arms!

  • @Marisol807 You are exactly what Ted wants... It is such types who keep this kind of individual in power. There is nothing for me to forgive that he is gay. I accept his homosexuality for that is the way he was born. But I do not accept hypocrisy under any circumstance. Those types, you cannot trust.

  • @christianne1975 Hi Chistianne. I'm not here to argue or to start a war. Just want to explain my point of view. I did not leave my comment to give him power. Nor do I condone or trust hypocrisy. However, who am I to Judge or forgive anyone. Let the one without sin cast the stone (I surely would have to walk away) since we all have sin in our lives. I just feel that not only did he have to pay in public for his sins but his entire family was treated as lepers and that's just not right.

  • @Marisol807 No war. :) We just have sincere comments. I agree he who is without sin should cast first stone -- which is what Ted needs to realize. He was so into casting stones at those who are just like him. If he were only gay, I would have no problem with it. But he is a raging hypocrite for years, and a man who can continually cast stones at gay people while doing same is someone who lacks conscience. The fallout is at his own hand. I have every right not to trust him.

  • @christianne1975 I understand your point. Have a good evening. :-)
